Quran-37:169 Surah As-saffat English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Transliteration:( Lakunna 'ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen )

169."We would surely have been the chosen [167] devotees of Allah". (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(169) We would have been the chosen servants of Allāh." (Saheen International Translation)

167. This means that if a heavenly Book had come to us, we would not have gone astray and be rebellious like the Jews and Christians. Instead, we would have been devotees of Allah.Almighty and obedient to Him. But, when this Prophet and the Holy Qur'aan came to them. they did not believe in them.
