    📖 Commentary of Surah As-Saffaat – Verse 179

    "And see. They will soon see [175] (their end)."

    ✅ [175] A Warning of Impending Punishment

    This verse tells the Prophet ﷺ to remain patient and not respond to the mockery and taunts of the disbelievers for now.

    A time will come when they will see the reality—either through defeat at the hands of the believers or through Divine punishment from the unseen.

    This verse is consistent with the earlier directive of patience before the command for Jihad was revealed. It was later abrogated by the verses of Holy War, which commanded action against the disbelievers.
