    📖 Commentary of Surah As-Saffaat – Verse 68

    "Then their return is certainly towards the Flaming Fire [69]"

    ✅ [69] Return to the Torment

    This indicates that the inmates of Hell will be taken to a separate place from their original abode to be fed with the cactus fruit and given boiling water to drink.

    Afterward, they will be brought back to their original places in the Flaming Fire to continue enduring their punishment.

    37. This shows that when the dwellers of Hell will be in distress due to hunger and thirst, they will be driven to the side where there would be the zaqqum trees and the springs of boiling water. When they will have eaten and drunk, they will be brought back to Hell.

    (68) Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
