قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaala ata'budoona maa tanhitoon )

95.He said: "Do you worship what your hand carved[95] out?" (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(95) He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, (Saheen International Translation)

📖 Commentary of Surah As-Saffaat – Verse 95

"He said: 'Do you worship what your hand carved [95] out?'"

✅ [95] Condemning Man-Made Gods

Hazrat Ebrahim (peace be upon him) replied by exposing the absurdity of worshipping idols, saying:

"Those who cannot save themselves from my beating—how will they save you from the punishment of Allah Almighty?"

His words were a piercing criticism of idol worship, revealing that man-made objects could never possess the power or divinity people falsely attributed to them.
