Transliteration:( Izim ba'asa ashqaahaa )
Qaidar bin Salif was the one who destroyed the she-camel, with the help of eight other people. His actions were driven by his infatuation with a woman named Uzza, who instigated him to commit this heinous deed. From this incident, several important lessons can be derived:
Women can be a significant source of mischief and temptation. The first murder in history, that of Qabil, was committed because of a woman. This highlights the potential impact women can have on individuals, either positively or negatively.
In matters of transgression, there is a distinction among infidels. Some transgressions are severe, while others are of a lesser nature. This suggests that not all acts of disobedience hold the same weight in terms of their consequences.
Animals that are connected to Allah Almighty hold great significance, and causing harm to them is an act of extreme wickedness. For instance, the calf of Samiri was despised and destroyed because it was associated with the infidels. However, the she-camel of Hazrat Saleh (On whom be peace) was revered and its harm was a grievous sin.
The Holy Prophet (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) stated that the person who killed the she-camel of Hazrat Saleh (On whom be peace) was the most despicable among the previous nations. He then compared this to the situation of Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him), stating that in his Ummah, the killer of Hazrat Ali would be the most despicable person.
The she-camel was a visible manifestation of the Prophethood of Hazrat Saleh, just as Hazrat Ali is the visible manifestation of the Holy Prophet’s Prophethood. The destruction of the she-camel was a symbol of great transgression and divine punishment.
Although the people who killed the she-camel faced divine punishment, the progeny of Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) will remain until the Day of Judgment. The reason why the progeny of Hazrat Ali is not destroyed is because Sayyeds, the descendants of Hazrat Ali, are considered a source of protection and safety for the world.
