The Field of Accountability and the Believers' Reward

  1. The Believers' Enjoyment of Paradise
At the Field of Accountability, the believers will be able to enjoy the sights of Paradise. They will be blessed with the sight of the blessed River of Kauthar, from which they will drink its water. Allah Almighty says, "And the Heaven shall be brought near to the dutiful" (S26:V90), indicating the closeness of Paradise to the righteous.

The Infidels' Fear and Despair

In contrast, the infidels will witness Hell from that place, experiencing extreme fear and anxiety, shaking and trembling as if they were aspen leaves. Allah Almighty says, "And the Hell shall be made apparent to those who have gone astray" (S26:V91), describing the inevitable fate of those who rejected the truth.

This experience of seeing Paradise and Hell will provide all with convincing knowledge of their respective fates. Once they reach their final destination, they will gain absolute knowledge of the consequences of their actions.

Glimpses of Paradise and Hell in the World

It should be remembered that some beloved servants of Allah Almighty are granted the ability to see glimpses of Paradise and Hell even in this world. This includes the Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), who witnessed it during Salaatul Kusuf, and figures like Hazrat Talha, Hazrat Zaid, and the martyrs of Badr, who were shown Paradise during their earthly lives as a reward for their devotion and sacrifice.
