80. This tells us the Holy Prophet is the reflection of Divine honour. If you desire to know your Creator then His true knowledge is that He is the Lord who has sent Hazrat Muhammad.as His true Messenger. Thus the Holy Prophet ? is the reflection of the Personality and Attributes of Allah Almighty.
81 This tell us that true Religion and guidance is connected with the Holy Prophet just as light is connecte with the sun, and that True Religion and guidance cannot be obtained by abandoning the Holy Prophet?.
This is clarified by the use of connecting letter BA with Guidance to emphasize that the personality of the Holy Prophet ? and guidance are connected with one another, that is one is inseparable from the other.Â
If guidance can be obtained through the Holy QUR'AAN alone, then it was not necessary to send the Holy Prophet.
Secondly at no time was the Holy Prophet separated from true Religion and Guidance because both of these are sent with the Holy Prophet without If anyone regards the Holy Prophet guidance for even a second, he is out of the fold of Islam.
82. By this is meant that Allah Almighty should abrogate all earlier heavenly religions through the Religion of the Holy Prophet, that his religion should over whelm and prevail upon every religion. Even today the Holy QUR'AAN is dominant over all religious scriptures, the mosques have the mastery over other places of worship and the publicity of the Holy Prophet is prevalent over that of every other leader.Â
It is clearly seen today, when Hazrat Isa (On whom be peace) comes to earth, Islam will be the only prevaling Religion, all other religions will be non-existant.

The tafsir of Surah Taubah verse 33 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Taubah ayat 32 which provides the complete commentary from verse 32 through 33.
(9:33) He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the True Religion that He may make it prevail over all religions,[32] howsoever those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity might detest it.
32. The Arabic word ad-din has been translated into ‘ways’. For the word deen, as has already been explained in E.N. 204, Al-Baqarah, is used for the ‘way of life’ or the ‘system of life’, which is followed in obedience to the supreme authority.
Now let us try to understand the significance of this verse. The object of the mission of the Messenger is to make the guidance and the right way he has brought from Allah dominant over all the other ways and systems of life. In other words, the Messenger is not sent to allow Allah’s Way to remain subordinate to other ways in order to enjoy concessions from them. He is sent by the Sovereign of the earth and the heavens to make His Way dominant over all other ways. And if a wrong way is at all allowed to remain on the earth, it should be tolerated only under its own protection by the payment of jizyah under the limits conferred by the divine system as in the cast of the system of life of the zimmis who pay jizyah.
