Transliteration:( Wa innahum la yasuddoo nahum 'anis sabeeli wa yahsaboona annahum muhtadoon )
"And indeed, he (the devil) hinders them from the right path but they imagine that they are perfectly guided [63]."
This verse describes the peak of spiritual misguidance—when a person is so influenced by Shaitaan that he is led away from the straight path, yet remains convinced he is rightly guided.
It is compared to a terminal illness, like the final stages of cancer, where the patient mistakenly believes he is healthy and sees the doctor as insane. In such a state, treatment becomes nearly impossible. Similarly, when someone rejects divine truth while believing in his own righteousness, his heart becomes sealed from guidance.
May Allah Almighty protect us from such delusion and keep us firmly on the path of truth.
