Transliteration:( Wa innahoo la zikrun laka wa liqawmika wa sawfa tus'aloon )
"And surely, it (the Quran) is a remembrance for you and for your people [76], and you will soon be questioned [77] about it."
This verse affirms that the Holy Qur’an is a remembrance and source of dignity for the Prophet ﷺ and his Ummah. All those who accept the Prophet’s message are considered his people, and since the Prophet was sent as a mercy to the worlds, the entire humanity falls under his domain. Every Prophet spoke the language of his people, and as such, the Prophet ﷺ is granted understanding of all languages, since all nations are his people.
The Qur’an itself is a means of honor and elevation for both the Prophet and his followers. Whoever wishes to gain true respect and status, must do so by serving and honoring the Qur’an.
This verse serves as a warning and reminder to the believers:
"You will be questioned about the Qur’an."
Have you fulfilled its rights? Have you believed in it, understood it, acted upon it, and spread its message?
On the Day of Judgement, every believer will be held accountable for their relationship with the Qur’an—not just its recitation, but its understanding and implementation.

Please refer to Surah Zukhruf ayat 36 which provides the complete commentary from verse 36 through 45.
(43:44) Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that.[39]
39. That is, there can be no greater good fortune for a person than that Allah should choose him from among all men to become the recipient of His Book, and there can be no greater good fortune also for a nation than that Allah should raise His Prophet in it, apart from all other nations of the world, and should send down His Book in its tongue, and give it the opportunity to rise as the standard-bearer of divine message in the world. If the Quraish and the people of Arabia have no sense of this great honor, and spurn it, a time will come when they will be called upon to account for it.
[1441]- i.e., an honor. Or "a reminder."
