Transliteration:( Falamma jaaa'ahum bi aayaatinaaa izaa hum minhaa yadhakoon )
"But when he brought Verses to them, they began to laugh [83] at these (verses)."
This verse refers to the reaction of Pharaoh and his chiefs when Prophet Musa (Moses) presented the miraculous signs from Allah. Despite the clear divine origin of these miracles—such as the staff that turned into a serpent and the shining hand—they mocked and ridiculed them.
Their laughter reflected skepticism and arrogance, as they dismissed the signs as mere magic or tricks, failing to recognize the truth. This attitude is a common theme in the stories of many prophets, illustrating how disbelief often leads to ridicule of the clear signs sent by Allah.
