Transliteration:( Faja'alnaahum salafanw wa masalan lil aakhireen (section 5) )
"And We made them a precedent of the past and an example for the coming generations [99]."
This verse highlights that the story of Pharaoh and his people serves as a lasting example and warning for all people until the Day of Judgement.
Rebellious individuals throughout history are often compared to Pharaoh, symbolizing evil and tyranny.
This teaches us that notoriety as a result of wrongdoing is a form of Divine punishment, while being remembered for righteousness and goodness is a mercy from Allah Almighty.
