Transliteration:( Laa yufattaru 'anhum wa hum feehi mublisoon )
"It shall never be withdrawn [131] from them and they shall remain [132] there, seized and despaired."
The torment of Hell for the disbelievers will neither lessen nor be lifted—not even for a moment. The intensity of the punishment they feel will not decrease with time, nor will they become numb to it. The suffering remains constant, both in occurrence and sensation, as a result of their complete rejection of the truth.
The disbelievers will be entirely despondent, with no hope for relief. In contrast, a sinful believer, even if sent to Hell temporarily, will not despair because he retains hope in Allah’s mercy and forgiveness. But for the infidel, even expectation of mercy becomes part of their torment, as it will never be fulfilled.
