Quran-31:24 Surah Luqman English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٖ

Transliteration:( Numatti'uhum qaleelan summa nadtarruhum ilaa 'azaabin ghaleez )

24.We shall allow them to enjoy a little[54], then making them helpless. We shall drive them towards severe punishment [55]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(24) We grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment. (Saheen International Translation)

54. From this we learn that no matter how opulent the world may be. it's opulence is insignificant Says Allah Almighty "Say you. the enment of the world is like "(S14 V77) But when the world becomes connected with the Hereafter it becomes abundant.

55. This tells us that although the sinful believer would be punished, it would not be severe torment, as this is for the infidels only .By severe punishment is meant either everlasting punishment, or punishment of disgrace or the punishment of the severe regions of Hell.

If Allah wills, even if a sinful believer would be placed into Hell it will be for a little while and that, too, in the upper most region of Hell where the punishment is light.
