    Transliteration:( Wa kaana ya'muru ahlahoo bis Salaati waz zakaati wa kaana 'inda Rabbihee mardiyyaa )

    55. And he bade [94] his family to pray and give Zakat, and was pleasing to his Lord [95]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    94. This command was not only given to his kith and kin, but to his servants and his entire people.

    95. This tells us that to order your children to perform their Salaahs is loved by Allah Almighty and is a way of the Prophets. If a person is a regular Musallee but he fails to make his children as such, he is in danger of being punished by Allah Almighty.

    Ala-Maududi

    There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.
