    📖 Commentary of Surah Sad – Verse 37

    "And (We subjected) the devils (Jinn), every builder and diver [79]."

    ✅ [79] Jinn Subjugated to Serve

    Hazrat Sulaiman (peace be upon him) was also granted control over the jinn, especially those skilled in construction and diving—demonstrating the extent of his divine kingdom. These jinn would build magnificent structures and dive into the depths of the oceans to retrieve treasures.

    From this, we learn:

    1. Among the jinn are expert artisans and craftsmen.

    2. Their mobility extends into the seas, showing they possess physical capabilities unlike humans.

    3. Despite being created from smokeless fire, these rebellious beings were subdued under the command of a Prophet—proving that divine light (Noor), as possessed by Prophets, is more powerful than fire.

    This highlights the miraculous nature of Sulaiman’s dominion, where even the unseen world was under his control through Allah’s permission.
