Transliteration:( Fasajadal malaaa'ikatu kulluhum ajma'oon )
"Therefore, the angels fell down in prostration, all of them together [127]."
This prostration was specifically for Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) as a gesture of respect, not worship. Had it been solely for Allah with Adam merely as a direction (qiblah), the wording “for him” would not be used, and Iblis would not have objected.
The entire assembly of angels—including those close to Allah and those assigned duties across the heavens and earth—all prostrated together, showing universal obedience to Allah’s command and honour for Adam.
