Quran-38:76 Surah Saad English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ

Transliteration:( Qaala ana khairum minhu; khalaqtanee min naarinw wa khalaqtahoo min teen )

76. He (Iblis) said: "I am better (132) than him. You have made me from fire and created him from clay (133)". (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(76) He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." (Saheen International Translation)

132. Hazrat Adam (in whom be peace) had neither obtamed any education nor has he been engaged in any worship.

133. This means the fire is superior to sand and he who is created from the superior clement, is superior as well. Both these principles are incorrect Sand is superior to fire. Gardens are set out with sand, not with fire
