Surah Yusuf Ayat 64 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Ala-Madudi

134. This tells us that a person who deceives you once you should be cautious of him- once bitten twice shy. It is stated in a Hadith that a believer can not fall in the same hole twice.

135. When sending Hazrat Yusuf (on whom be peace) the father had forgotten the remembrance of Allah Almighty, as a result of which they were separated. Now he was fully conscious of Allah Almighty and due to this those separated were brought together. From this we learn that a Prophet is immediately alerted of even his trivial error We further learn that the remembrance of Allah Almighty is an excellent means to ward off any calamity.
