Quran-12:90 Surah Surah-yusuf English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Qaaloo 'a innaka la anta Yoosufu qaala ana Yoosufu wa haazaaa akhee qad mannal laahu 'alainaa innahoo mai yattaqi wa yasbir fa innal laaha laa yudee'u ajral muhsineen )

90. They said, "Are you really Yusuf [192]?" He replied, "I am Yusuf, and this is my brother [193]. Indeed, Allah has favored us. Whoever fears Allah and is patient, Allah does not waste the reward of the righteous [195]." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(90) They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allāh has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allāh and is patient, then indeed, Allāh does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good." (Saheen International Translation)

Surah Yusuf Ayat 90 Tafsir (Commentry)

192. Although these brothers were twice before in the court of Hazrat Yusuf (on whom be peace), on both these occasions they could not identify or recognize him, today after expressing their helplessness, humility and lowliness Hazrat Yusuf (on whom be peace) disclosed his identity to them.

The same is the condition of those who are in the court of the Holy Prophet SAW. Says Allah Almighty: "And when those who believe in our signs come to you then say to them, Peace be upon you". (S6:V54) Here too the word "they came" conveys the same meaning

193. By "brother" means either his blood brother, or the brother upon who Allah Almighty bestowed His kindness. Otherwise the others too were his brothers.

194. By 'we' is meant Hazrat Yusuf (on whom be peace) himself and his brother Benyamin; by 'benevolence' is meant happy reunion of those separated, and bearing the afflicted days with patience. Although all the brothers were blessed by Allah Almighty with piety and purity, benevolence was bestowed on the two brothers only.

195. The proof of this benevolence is our own incident in which Allah Almighty united who had been separated with honour.
