    ۞وَعَنَتِ ٱلۡوُجُوهُ لِلۡحَيِّ ٱلۡقَيُّومِۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ حَمَلَ ظُلۡمٗا

    Transliteration:( Wa 'anatil wujoohu lil Haiiyil Qaiyoomi wa qad khaaba man hamala zulmaa )

    111. All faces shall be down cast [155] before the All-Living, the Sustainer. And indeed he who bore the burden of injustice remained unsuccessful. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (111) And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.[858] And he will have failed who carries injustice.[859] (Saheen International Translation)

    155. This means every infidel and believer will express his helplessness. No one will be able to show any arrogance. But, this humility of the infidels will not help them because when they were in the world they were rebellious.

    (20:111) All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed;

    There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.

    (111) And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.[858] And he will have failed who carries injustice.[859]
