    Transliteration:( Fa atba'ahum Fir'awnu bijunoodihee faghashiyahum minal yammmi maa ghashi yahum )

    78. Then Firown followed them with his host [103], and then the river covered them as to be covered. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (78) So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,[845] (Saheen International Translation)

    54. According to (Surah Ash-Shuara, Ayat 64-66), Pharaoh with his hosts followed the caravan on the dry path and they all were drowned. In Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 50, it has been stated that the Israelites had reached the other shore and saw them drowning in the sea. From (Surah Younus, Ayat 90-92), we learn that Pharaoh professed to believe in God while he was drowning but this was rejected by God and he was told that his dead body would he preserved for the coming generations to serve as a lesson for them.

    (78) So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,[845]

    [845]- i.e., not only the water but that which only Allāh knows - terror, pain, regret, etc.
