Transliteration:( 'Alaa Siraatim Mustaqeem )
"(Who) has been sent on the Straight [4] Path."
This verse further confirms that the Holy Prophet ﷺ is not only sent by Allah, but sent specifically on the Straight Path—the path of truth, justice, and divine guidance. This path (Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm) represents the route to salvation and the core of Islamic belief and practice.
However, it must be remembered that this very path is targeted by the devil. As stated in Surah Al-A'raf (7:16):
“The devil shall necessarily sit on Your Straight Path in wait for them.”
This means that Shayṭān lies in ambush along the straight path, attempting to mislead and rob believers of their faith.
But Allah, in His mercy, has also placed the Prophet ﷺ and his righteous followers on this same path—not to harm, but to guide, protect, and uplift. Where the devil seeks to confuse, the Prophet and the saints offer clarity and light.
Just as the police must be stronger than the robbers, the knowledge and power of the Prophet ﷺ and the saints of Allah must—and do—exceed that of Shayṭān. Their presence on the Straight Path is not merely symbolic—it is essential for safeguarding the Ummah.
Furthermore, since Allah Himself says He is on the Straight Path, it means that true divine presence and support can be found only on this path—with those who follow the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ, not with those who oppose or stray.
