📖 Commentary of Surah Ya-Sin – Verse 60

"O Children of Adam, had I not made a promise [91] with you that you should not worship Shaitaan. Certainly, he is your open enemy [92]."

✅ [91] The Divine Covenant

This refers to the primordial covenant Allah made with all human souls, warning them not to follow or obey Shaitaan. Worshipping Shaitaan means submitting to his commands, which include disbelief, sin, and rebellion against Allah.

This covenant was established through Divine Books, Prophets, and the innate conscience placed within every human being.

✅ [92] Shaitaan – A Declared Enemy

Allah reminds us that Shaitaan is a clear and open enemy. His enmity is not hidden—he openly vowed to mislead mankind.

Despite his persistent efforts to destroy human faith and morality, many ignored the warning and willingly followed him, leading to their own ruin.
