    كَذَٰلِكَ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ فَسَقُوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

    Transliteration:( Kazaalika haqqat Kalimatu Rabbika 'alal lazeena fasaqooo annahum laa yu'minoon )

    33. Thus the word of your Lord proved true against the transgressors [100], that they will not believe [101]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (33) Thus the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed - that they will not believe. (Saheen International Translation)

    100. Here transgressors signify those infidels of sinful beliefs whose death upon infidelity has been decided, while word of your Lord means the following statement of Allah Almighty: "We will fill Hell with them" (S39:V85)

    101. Because their names have been entered by Allah Almighty in the list of infidels, and as such they will always choose evil things on their own volition

    (10:33) Thus the word of your Lord is fulfilled concerning the transgressors that they shall not believe.[40]

    Ala-Maududi

    (10:33) Thus the word of your Lord is fulfilled concerning the transgressors that they shall not believe.[40]

    40. That is, this Word of your Lord has come true that those who have made up their minds that they would not believe in any case would never believe because of their obduracy, even if the truth were to be presented before them with very plain and clear arguments.

    (33) Thus the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed - that they will not believe.
