    هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

    15. Has the narrative of Musa reached you [7]?

    Surah Name : An-Naziat   Surah Number : 79   Ayat Number: 15

    إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

    16. When his Lord called him to the Valley of Tuwa saying:

    ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

    17.You go to the Pharaoh, who has rebelled.

    فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

    18. And say to him: "Would you purify yourself?"

    وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

    19. "And I guide you to your Lord so that you may fear Him" [8].

    فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

    20.He (Musa) showed (9) him a great sign.

    فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ

    21.But he (Pharaoh) denied it and disobeyed.

    ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ

    22.Then he turned away to strive against him.

    فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

    23. He gathered (his people) and proclaimed.

    فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

    24."I am your lord, the highest one" [10].

    فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

    25. But Allah seized him [11] as an example for the present (world) and for the Hereafter.

    إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ

    26. Verily, there is a lesson in it for those who fear [12].
