أَوۡ كَصَيِّبٖ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَٰتٞ وَرَعۡدٞ وَبَرۡقٞ يَجۡعَلُونَ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِم مِّنَ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ حَذَرَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۚ وَٱللَّهُ مُحِيطُۢ بِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

19. Or like a heavy rainstorm from the sky, wherein there is darkness [35], thunder, and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears because of the thunderclaps, in fear of death. And Allah encompasses the disbelievers [36].

Surah Name : Al-Baqarah   Surah Number : 2   Ayat Number: 19

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعٗا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ

12. He is the One who shows you the lightning, causing both fear and hope [33], and who raises the heavy clouds [34].

Surah Name : Ar-Rad   Surah Number : 13   Ayat Number: 12

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزۡجِي سَحَابٗا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيۡنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجۡعَلُهُۥ رُكَامٗا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن جِبَالٖ فِيهَا مِنۢ بَرَدٖ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَصۡرِفُهُۥ عَن مَّن يَشَآءُۖ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرۡقِهِۦ يَذۡهَبُ بِٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ

43. Have you not observed how Allah drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, and then piles them one over the other so that you see rain [119] coming forth from their midst? And He sends down from the sky mountains [120] of ice, from which He hails whom He wills and turns it away from whom He wills [121]. It is very near that the flash of its lightning may take away the sight [122].

Surah Name : An-Nur   Surah Number : 24   Ayat Number: 43

فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُواْ فَقُلۡ أَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ صَٰعِقَةٗ مِّثۡلَ صَٰعِقَةِ عَادٖ وَثَمُودَ

13. But if they turn [33] away their faces, then please declare: "I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt[34] faced by Aad and Thamud".
