37. Or, have they treasures of your Lord with them? Or, have they been promised [44] the authority of some reasures?

34. Then his Lord responded to him and turned away the women’s guile [74] from him. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

37. [Joseph] said, "The food which you will be provided with will not come to you, but I will inform you of its interpretation[79] before it comes to you. This is from the knowledge my Lord has given me[80]. I have abandoned the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah and who are disbelievers in the Hereafter[82]."

39. O my two fellow prisoners, are separate lords better or Allah, the One, the All-Prevailing?[86]

41. O my two fellow prisoners! As for one of you, he will serve [92] wine to his lord (King), and as for the other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head [93]. The matter about which you enquired has been decreed [94].

42. And [Yusuf] said to the one whom he considered would be saved of the two, mention me [95] before your lord (King); then Satan made him forget [96] to mention him to his lord, so [Yusuf] remained in prison for several more years [97].

50. And the king said, "Bring him to me." Then, when the messenger came to him, he said, "Return to your lord and ask him what about the women who cut their hands? Indeed, my Lord is aware of their scheme [111]."

53. And I do not acquit myself [118]. Indeed, the soul is prone to evil except for those on whom my Lord has mercy [119]. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and merciful.

98. He said, "Soon I will ask my Lord to forgive you. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful [206]."

100. He placed his parents on the throne [210], and they all fell prostrate to him [211]. Yusuf said, "O my father, this is the interpretation of my earlier vision [212]. My Lord has made it true. He has indeed shown me favor by bringing me out of prison [213] and bringing you here from the desert after Satan had caused discord between me and my brothers [214]. Surely my Lord is Subtle in His decree [215], and He is the All-Knowing, the Wise."

101. My Lord, You have bestowed dominion upon me and have taught me to comprehend the depths of things [217]. O Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Guardian in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous [218].

2. Only those are believers whose hearts tremble when Allah is mentioned [5], and when His verses are recited to them, it increases their faith [6], and upon their Lord they rely [7].

4. They are the true believers. For them are ranks with their Lord, forgiveness, and an honorable provision [9].

12. When your Lord revealed to the angels [25], "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed [26]. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved. So strike them above the necks and strike off every fingertip of theirs" [27].
