    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَقُرۡءَانٖ مُّبِينٖ

    1. Alif, Lâm, Rā. Voici les versets du Livre et ceux d’un Coran très clair.

    رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ

    2. Ceux qui ont mécru voudront peut-être (le Jour du Jugement Dernier) avoir été Musulmans.

    ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

    3. Laisse-les manger, profiter des jouissances éphémères et se nourrir d’illusions. Bientôt ils sauront !

    وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ

    4. Nous n’avons détruit aucune cité sans qu’elle n’ait eu son terme écrit et déjà su.

    مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ

    5. Aucune communauté ne saurait devancer son terme ni le différer.

    وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ

    6. Ils disent : « Ô toi sur qui le Rappel (le Dhikr) est descendu [259] (en révélation) ! Tu n’es qu’un fou !

    لَّوۡ مَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

    7. Que n’amènes-tu pas avec toi des Anges si tu dis vrai ? »

    مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ

    8. Nous ne faisons descendre les Anges qu’avec la vérité[260] et quand (ils descendront) il ne sera, alors, accordé plus aucun délai aux (mécréants).

    إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

    9. C’est Nous qui avons fait descendre le Rappel (le Dhikr) et c’est Nous qui en assurons la préservation.

    وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    10. Avant toi, Nous avons déjà envoyé des Messagers parmi les peuples premiers.[261]
