    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

    11. qui tiennent pour imposture le Jour de la Rétribution.

    وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

    12. Or seul (l’homme pervers), livré à ses abus et à ses péchés, tient ce jour pour mensonge.

    إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    13. Quand Nos versets lui sont récités, il dit : « Ce ne sont que fables d’anciens ! »

    كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

    14. Que non ! Ce sont plutôt leurs actions qui ont voilé leurs cœurs.

    كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ

    15. Que non ! ce jour-là, ils seront eux-mêmes privés de la vision de leur Seigneur.

    ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

    16. Ils brûleront alors dans le Brasier incandescent.

    ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

    17. Et il leur sera dit : « Voilà ce que vous teniez pour mensonge ! »

    كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ

    18. Que non ! le Livre des vertueux sera dans ‘Illiyyûn.

    وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ

    19. Et qui te fera jamais savoir ce que c’est que ‘Illiyyûn ?

    كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

    20. Un Livre (où les noms des vertueux sont) définitivement inventoriés.
