    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    فَإِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَسَنَةُ قَالُواْ لَنَا هَٰذِهِۦۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةٞ يَطَّيَّرُواْ بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓۗ أَلَآ إِنَّمَا طَـٰٓئِرُهُمۡ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    131. Si les llegaba algún bien, decían: «Esto es nuestro (por merecimiento propio)»; pero, si sufrían alguna adversidad, culpaban de su mala suerte a Moisés y a quienes lo seguían. No obstante, su suerte había sido decretada por Al-lah (debido a sus pecados y a su rechazo a la verdad), aunque la mayoría de ellos no lo sabían.

    وَقَالُواْ مَهۡمَا تَأۡتِنَا بِهِۦ مِنۡ ءَايَةٖ لِّتَسۡحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحۡنُ لَكَ بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    132. Y dijeron (a Moisés): «Sea cual sea la prueba que nos traigas para hechizarnos con ella, no te creeremos».

    فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلطُّوفَانَ وَٱلۡجَرَادَ وَٱلۡقُمَّلَ وَٱلضَّفَادِعَ وَٱلدَّمَ ءَايَٰتٖ مُّفَصَّلَٰتٖ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا مُّجۡرِمِينَ

    133. Entonces, enviamos contra ellos inundaciones, (plagas de) langostas, piojos y ranas, y (convertimos el agua en) sangre; todo ello eran claras señales (de la veracidad de Moisés), mas las rechazaron con arrogancia y fueron gente pecadora.

    وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّجۡزُ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَۖ لَئِن كَشَفۡتَ عَنَّا ٱلرِّجۡزَ لَنُؤۡمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرۡسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ

    134. Y cuando se abatía sobre ellos un castigo, decían: «¡Moisés!, suplica a tu Señor por nosotros en virtud del pacto que ha establecido contigo. Si nos libras del castigo, creeremos verdaderamente en ti y dejaremos ir contigo a los hijos de Israel».

    فَلَمَّا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمُ ٱلرِّجۡزَ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ هُم بَٰلِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمۡ يَنكُثُونَ

    135. Pero, cada vez que apartábamos de ellos el castigo hasta un plazo decretado, incumplían su palabra.

    فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا غَٰفِلِينَ

    136. Entonces, los castigamos (en consecuencia) y los ahogamos en el mar por haber negado Nuestros milagros y haberse desentendido de ellos.

    وَأَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ يُسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ مَشَٰرِقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَغَٰرِبَهَا ٱلَّتِي بَٰرَكۡنَا فِيهَاۖ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْۖ وَدَمَّرۡنَا مَا كَانَ يَصۡنَعُ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَقَوۡمُهُۥ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡرِشُونَ

    137. E hicimos que el pueblo que había sido oprimido ocupara el este y el oeste de la tierra que habíamos bendecido[254]. Y así se cumplió la palabra de Al-lah sobre los hijos de Israel (de que habitarían la Tierra Prometida) por haber sido pacientes, y destruimos lo que el Faraón y su pueblo habían construido y erigido.

    وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٖ لَّهُمۡۚ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهٗا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ تَجۡهَلُونَ

    138. E hicimos que los hijos de Israel cruzaran el mar, y llegaron a un pueblo cuyas gentes estaban entregadas a la adoración de sus ídolos. (Los hijos de Israel) dijeron: «¡Oh, Moisés!, danos divinidades como las que ellos tienen». (Moisés) contestó: «Ciertamente, sois gente ignorante.

    إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مُتَبَّرٞ مَّا هُمۡ فِيهِ وَبَٰطِلٞ مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    139. »Esas gentes serán destruidas por lo que practican y todo lo que hacen de nada les servirá».

    قَالَ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِيكُمۡ إِلَٰهٗا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    140. Dijo (Moisés): «¿Cómo podría buscaros otra divinidad fuera de Al-lah cuando Él os ha favorecido por encima de todos los pueblos (de vuestro tiempo)?».
