    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ

    1. ¡Ay de los estafadores!,

    ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ

    2. esos que cuando compran, exigen la medida y el peso exactos;

    وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ

    3. pero cuando venden, dan una medida o un peso inferior al debido.

    أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ

    4. ¿Acaso no saben que resucitarán

    لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

    5. en un día terrible?

    يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    6. Ese día (el Día de la Resurrección) todos los hombres comparecerán ante el Señor de toda la creación.

    كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ

    7. Verdaderamente, el registro de las obras de los pecadores incrédulos se halla en el sijjin[1124].

    وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ

    8. ¿Y sabes qué es el sijjin?

    كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ

    9. (Es el destino que les ha sido decretado, y) el registro de sus obras está marcado y sellado.

    وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

    10. ¡Ay ese día de quienes niegan la verdad!;
