Al-Ahzab (Arabic: الأحزاب, al-aḥz'b; meaning: the confederates, or "the clans", "the coalition", or "the combined forces") is the 33rd chapter (Surah) of the Quran (Q33) with 73 verses.

The summary/theme of the surah Al-Ahzab: 

Three important events are discussed in the Surah: the Battle of the Trench (or Al-Ahzab: the Clans), which took place in Shawwal, A. H. 5; the raid on Bani Quraizah, which took place in Dhil-Qa'dah, A. H. 5; and the Holy Prophet's marriage with Hadrat Zainab, which was also contracted there.

Lesson learned from  surah Al-Ahzab

  1. Adopt taqw'.  
  2. Rely solely on Allah's.  
  3. Hypocrisy is a grave evil.  
  4. Allah's is oft forgiving and merciful.  
  5. Remember the favours of Allah's by looking back on incidents from the past. 
  6. The á¹¢aḥ'bah رضي الله عنهم were tested to the limits by Allah's, a test which they passed.  
  7. The hypocrites were the enemy within, and they were always trying to cause disruption.  
  8. Who can save you from Allah's if He decides to inflict you with difficulty, or even decides to shower you with His mercy?  
  9. The best example for us is in the Messenger ï·º  
  10. Depending on your status in society and as a person of religious stature, there is a certain level of conduct that is demanded of you that is above that of others.  
  11. The reward you receive from Allah's will multiply depending on your sacrifices.  
  12. The wives of the Prophet ï·º were duty-bound by Allah's to inform the masses what would be revealed within the confines of their homes, and any wisdom that would be imparted by the Prophet ï·º when in private.  
  13. When Allah's and His Messenger ï·º decide something for an individual, there remains no choice in the matter for them.  
  14. Allah's has more right that you fear Him than fear the people.  
  15. There are Ayat in the Quran wherein Allah's directly rebukes the Prophet ï·º, yet the Prophet ï·º did not conceal these Ayat from us, which proves his truthfulness in his claim to Prophethood and trustworthiness.  
  16. Muḥammad ï·º was the seal of the Prophets; he was the final one.  
  17. Remember Allah's in abundance.  
  18. Ignore the inconveniences and trouble caused by the hypocrites. Rely on Allah's to take care of them.  
  19. There were certain privileges given by Allah's to the Prophet ï·º over the rest of the Ummah.  
  20.  When invited to eat at someone’s house, don’t sit around talking after the food has been served being oblivious to the host’s circumstances.  
  21. You should never shy away from the truth.[6]  
  22. Send salutations upon the Prophet ï·º in abundance.  
  23. A modest dress code is a means of protection.[7]  
  24. The knowledge of the Final Hour is only with Allah's.  
  25. The disbelievers will regret not following the Messenger ï·º in the Hereafter.  
  26. Do not mock and jest any Prophet.  
  27. Speak in straightforward terms. Don’t beat around the bush.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ ذِكۡرٗا كَثِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanuz kurul laaha zikran kaseera )
41. O believers! Remember Allah with much frequency.

وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلًا

Transliteration:( Wa sabbihoohu bukratanw wa aseela )
42. And glorify [114] Him morning and [115] evening.

هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ لِيُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۚ وَكَانَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رَحِيمٗا

Transliteration:( Huwal lazee yusallee 'alaikum wa malaaa'ikatuhoo liyukhrijakum minazzulumaati ilan-noor wa kaana bilmu'mineena Raheemaa )
43. It is He who sends blessings on you, and so do His angels that He may take out of darkness into light [116] And He is Merciful to the believers.

تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ سَلَٰمٞۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا كَرِيمٗا

Transliteration:( Tahiyyatuhum Yawma yalqawnahoo salaamunw wa a'adda lahum ajran kareemaa )
44.Their salutation on the day they meet Him is "Peace" [117], and He has kept prepared for them honourable reward.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ شَٰهِدٗا وَمُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu innaaa arsalnaaka shaahidanw wa mubashshiranw wa nazeeraa )
45. O Prophet of Allah (the communicator of the hidden news). Surely, We have sent you as witness and a bearer (118) of glad tidings and a warner (119).

وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجٗا مُّنِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Wa daa'iyan ilal laahi bi iznihee wa siraajam muneeraa )
46.And an inviter towards Allah by His Command [120] and blazing [121] sun.

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَضۡلٗا كَبِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Wa bashshiril mu'mineena bi annna lahum minal laahi fadlan kabeera )
47. And give glad tidings to the believers, that for them is a great bounty [122] of Allah.

وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعۡ أَذَىٰهُمۡ وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلٗا

Transliteration:( Wa laa tuti'il kaafireena walmunaafiqeena wa da'azaahum wa tawakkal 'alallaah; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa )
48. And do not do anything for the pleasure of the infidels and the hypocrites, and overlook [123] their annoyance. And put your trust in Allah. And Allah suffices as the Accomplisher.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نَكَحۡتُمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِنۡ عِدَّةٖ تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحٗا جَمِيلٗا

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa nakahtumul mu'minaati summa tallaqtu moohunna min qabli an tamas soohunna famaa lakum 'alaihinna min 'iddatin ta'taddoonahaa famatti'oohunna wa sarri hoohunna saraahan jameelaa )
49.0 believers! When you marry [124] Muslim women and then divorce them before touching [125] them. In that case you have no period of waiting, which you may count against them. So give some benefit (126) for them and leave (127) them in a noble manner.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِنَّآ أَحۡلَلۡنَا لَكَ أَزۡوَٰجَكَ ٱلَّـٰتِيٓ ءَاتَيۡتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتۡ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّـٰتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَٰلَٰتِكَ ٱلَّـٰتِي هَاجَرۡنَ مَعَكَ وَٱمۡرَأَةٗ مُّؤۡمِنَةً إِن وَهَبَتۡ نَفۡسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنۡ أَرَادَ ٱلنَّبِيُّ أَن يَسۡتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةٗ لَّكَ مِن دُونِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۗ قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا فَرَضۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ وَمَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ لِكَيۡلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيۡكَ حَرَجٞۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu innaaa ahlalnaa laka azwaa jakal laatee aataiyta ujoora hunna wa maa malakat yameenuka mimmaaa afaaa'al laahu 'alaika wa banaati 'ammika wa banaati 'ammaatika wa banaati khaalika wa banaati khaalaa tikal laatee haajarna ma'aka wamra' atan mu'minatan inw wahabat nafsahaa lin Nabiyyi in araadan Nabiyyu ai yastan kihahaa khaalisatan laka min doonil mu'mineen; qad 'alimnaa maa faradnaa 'alaihim feee azwaajihim wa maa malakat aimaanuhum li kailaa yakoona 'alaika haraj; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema )
50.0 Prophet (Communicator of the hidden news)! We have made lawful for you tbose of your wives when you pay dower (128), and those women whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given (129) to you as prisoners of war; and the daughters of your paternal uncles, and daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles, and the daughters of your maternal aunts (130) who migrated (131) with you; and the believing woman(132), if she presents (133) herself to the Prophet and the Prophet desires to marry her. This provision is especially for you )(134), and not for the believing men (135). We know what We have appointed (136) for them concerning their wives and the possession of their hands, the slave girls (137); this specially is yours so that there may not be any hardship (138) on you. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (139).
