The summary/theme of the surah Al-Ahzab: 

Three important events are discussed in the Surah: the Battle of the Trench (or Al-Ahzab: the Clans), which took place in Shawwal, A. H. 5; the raid on Bani Quraizah, which took place in Dhil-Qa'dah, A. H. 5; and the Holy Prophet's marriage with Hadrat Zainab, which was also contracted there.

Lesson learned from  surah Al-Ahzab

  1. Adopt taqw'.  
  2. Rely solely on Allah's.  
  3. Hypocrisy is a grave evil.  
  4. Allah's is oft forgiving and merciful.  
  5. Remember the favours of Allah's by looking back on incidents from the past. 
  6. The á¹¢aḥ'bah رضي الله عنهم were tested to the limits by Allah's, a test which they passed.  
  7. The hypocrites were the enemy within, and they were always trying to cause disruption.  
  8. Who can save you from Allah's if He decides to inflict you with difficulty, or even decides to shower you with His mercy?  
  9. The best example for us is in the Messenger ï·º  
  10. Depending on your status in society and as a person of religious stature, there is a certain level of conduct that is demanded of you that is above that of others.  
  11. The reward you receive from Allah's will multiply depending on your sacrifices.  
  12. The wives of the Prophet ï·º were duty-bound by Allah's to inform the masses what would be revealed within the confines of their homes, and any wisdom that would be imparted by the Prophet ï·º when in private.  
  13. When Allah's and His Messenger ï·º decide something for an individual, there remains no choice in the matter for them.  
  14. Allah's has more right that you fear Him than fear the people.  
  15. There are Ayat in the Quran wherein Allah's directly rebukes the Prophet ï·º, yet the Prophet ï·º did not conceal these Ayat from us, which proves his truthfulness in his claim to Prophethood and trustworthiness.  
  16. Muḥammad ï·º was the seal of the Prophets; he was the final one.  
  17. Remember Allah's in abundance.  
  18. Ignore the inconveniences and trouble caused by the hypocrites. Rely on Allah's to take care of them.  
  19. There were certain privileges given by Allah's to the Prophet ï·º over the rest of the Ummah.  
  20.  When invited to eat at someone’s house, don’t sit around talking after the food has been served being oblivious to the host’s circumstances.  
  21. You should never shy away from the truth.[6]  
  22. Send salutations upon the Prophet ï·º in abundance.  
  23. A modest dress code is a means of protection.[7]  
  24. The knowledge of the Final Hour is only with Allah's.  
  25. The disbelievers will regret not following the Messenger ï·º in the Hereafter.  
  26. Do not mock and jest any Prophet.  
  27. Speak in straightforward terms. Don’t beat around the bush.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

مَّلۡعُونِينَۖ أَيۡنَمَا ثُقِفُوٓاْ أُخِذُواْ وَقُتِّلُواْ تَقۡتِيلٗا

Transliteration:( Mal'ooneena ainamaa suqifoo ukhizoo wa quttiloo taqteelaa )
61.Cursed they are wherever they are found they shall be seized and be slain [182] one by one.

سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِي ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِيلٗا

Transliteration:( Sunnatal laahi fil lazeena khalaw min qablu wa lan tajida lisunnatil laahi tabdeelaa )
62.This has been the practice of Allah regarding those who have gone before [183]. And you shall never find a change in the practice [184] of Allah.

يَسۡـَٔلُكَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِۖ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا

Transliteration:( Yas'alukan naasu 'anis Saa'ati qul innamaa 'ilmuhaa 'indal laah; wa maa yudreeka la'allas Saa'ata takoonu qareebaa )
63.The people ask you concerning the Hour. Please declare: "Its knowledge is with Allah alone,and what you comprehend about it". Perhaps the Hour may be near [186].

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ سَعِيرًا

Transliteration:( Innal laaha la'anal kaafireena wa a'adda lahum sa'eeraa )
64. Surely Allah has cursed the infidels and has kept prepared for them a blazing [187] fire.

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۖ لَّا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Khaalideena feehaaa abadaa, laa yajidoona waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa )
65. Wherein they shall abide forever. They shall not find therein any supporter nor any helper [188].

يَوۡمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمۡ فِي ٱلنَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَٰلَيۡتَنَآ أَطَعۡنَا ٱللَّهَ وَأَطَعۡنَا ٱلرَّسُولَا۠

Transliteration:( Yawma tuqallabu wujoohuhum fin Naari yaqooloona yaa laitanaaa ata'nal laaha wa ata'nar Rasoolaa )
66. The day that their faces shall be turned in the fire, they will say: "O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger [189]".

وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعۡنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠

Transliteration:( Wa qaaloo Rabbanaaa innaaa ata'naa saadatanaa wa kubaraaa'anaa fa adalloonas sabeelaa )
67.And they will say: "O our Lord we obeyed our chiefs and our elders [190].and they led us astray from the way".

رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِهِمۡ ضِعۡفَيۡنِ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَٱلۡعَنۡهُمۡ لَعۡنٗا كَبِيرٗا

Transliteration:( Rabbanaaa aatihim di'fai ni minal 'azaabi wal'anhum la nan kabeera (section 8) )
68."O our Lord, give them double punishment of the Fire and curse them with a great curse [191]".

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاذَوۡاْ مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُواْۚ وَكَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَجِيهٗا

Transliteration:( Yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takoonoo kalla zeena aazaw Moosaa fa barra ahul laahu mimma qaaloo; wa kaana 'indal laahi wajeehaa )
69.0 believers! Be not like those who had annoyed Musa, then Allah exonerated [192] him of what they spoke [193] of him. And Musa is honourable (194) in the sight of Allah.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَقُولُواْ قَوۡلٗا سَدِيدٗا

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanut taqul laaha wa qooloo qawlan sadeedaa )
70.0 believers! Fear Allah and speak [195] the right word.
