The summary/theme of the surah Al-Anbiya:

 The Holy Prophet and the chiefs of Makkah were involved in the conflict at the time of its revelation, and this Surah deals with objections and doubts concerning his Prophethood, the Doctrines of Tauhid, and the Hereafter.

Lesson learned from surah Al-Anbiya:

 

  1. The Day of Reckoning is drawing closer while we are still wandering in neglect.  
  2. Ask the people who know if you yourself don’t know.  
  3. Allah's cannot be questioned about what He does, whereas we will be questioned over our actions.  
  4. Every soul shall taste death.  
  5. The human is intrinsically hasty and impatient.
  6. Allah's created every living thing from water.  
  7. There will be thorough weighing of deeds on the Day of Judgement. 
  8. AyyÅ«b عليه السلام was afflicted with a serious illness, but instead of asking Allah's to remove it, he merely mentioned it and said, ‘You are the most merciful from those who show mercy.’ He couldn’t bring himself to ask Allah's to remove it: such was his disposition.  
  9. Allah's sent Muḥammad ï·º as a mercy for the worlds.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

قَالُواْ فَأۡتُواْ بِهِۦ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنِ ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَشۡهَدُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo fa'too bihee 'alaaa a'yunin naasi la'allahum yash hadoon )
61. They said, "Then bring him before the people, so that they may bear witness" [93].

قَالُوٓاْ ءَأَنتَ فَعَلۡتَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَا يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ

Transliteration:( Qaalooo 'a-anta fa'alta haazaa bi aalihatinaa yaaa Ibraaheem )
62. They said, 'have you done this to our gods O Ibrahim?'

قَالَ بَلۡ فَعَلَهُۥ كَبِيرُهُمۡ هَٰذَا فَسۡـَٔلُوهُمۡ إِن كَانُواْ يَنطِقُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaala bal fa'alahoo kabeeruhum haazaa fas'aloohum in kaanoo yantiqoon )
63. He said, 'Rather this big one [94], of them would have done this, so ask them, if they can speak.

فَرَجَعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ أَنتُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

Transliteration:( Faraja'ooo ilaaa anfusihim faqaalooo innakum antumuz zaalimoon )
64. They turned to themselves and said, 'Indeed you yourselves are the unjust' [95].

ثُمَّ نُكِسُواْ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ

Transliteration:( Summa nukisoo 'alaa ru'oosihim laqad 'alimta maa haaa'ulaaa'i yantiqoon )
65. Then they were layed downwards on their heads [96] that you know well that these do not speak.

قَالَ أَفَتَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمۡ

Transliteration:( Qaala afata'budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yanfa'ukum shai'anw wa laa yadurrukum )
66. He said, 'Do you then worship beside Allah that which neither profits you and nor hurts you' [97].

أُفّٖ لَّكُمۡ وَلِمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

Transliteration:( Uffil lakum wa limaa ta'budoona min doonil laah; afalaa ta'qiloon )
67. Woe upon you and those deities, which you worship besides Allah, do you then have no wisdom? [98]

قَالُواْ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo harriqoohu wansurooo aalihatakum in kuntum faa'ileen )
68. They said, 'Burn him and help your gods, if you have to do' [99].

قُلۡنَا يَٰنَارُ كُونِي بَرۡدٗا وَسَلَٰمًا عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

Transliteration:( Qulnaa yaa naaru koonee bardanw wa salaaman 'alaaa Ibraaheem )
69. We said, 'O Fire! Be cool and a safety for Ibrahim' [100].

وَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَخۡسَرِينَ

Transliteration:( Wa araadoo bihee kaidan faja'alnaahumul akhsareen )
70. And they desired evil for him, but We made them the worst losers [101].
