Transliteration:( Wa iz qultum yaa Moosaa lan nasbira 'alaa ta'aaminw waahidin fad'u lanaa rabbaka yukhrij lanaa mimmaa tumbitul ardu mimbaqlihaa wa qis saaa'ihaa wa foomihaa wa 'adasihaa wa basalihaa qaala atastabdiloonal lazee huwa adnaa billazee huwa khayr; ihbitoo misran fa inna lakum maa sa altum; wa duribat 'alaihimuz zillatu walmaskanatu wa baaa'oo bighadabim minal laah; zaalika bi annahum kaano yakfuroona bi aayaatil laahi wa yaqtuloonan Nabiyyeena bighairil haqq; zaalika bimaa 'asaw wa kaanoo ya'tadoon )
61. And recall when you said, O Musa! [110] We can never be satisfied [111] with one kind of food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us some of the varied produce of the earth, such as its vegetables, cucumbers, wheat, lentils, and onions. He (Musa) said: "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go back to Egypt any town, and there you will find all that you asked for." And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and incurred the Wrath of Allah because they repeatedly disbelieved in the Signs of Allah and killed the Prophets unjustly. [114] This was because they were disobedient and habitually exceeding the limits.
Transliteration:( Innal lazeena aamanoo wallazeena haadoo wan nasaaraa was Saabi'eena man aamana billaahi wal yawmil aakhiri wa 'amila saalihan falahum ajruhum 'inda Rabbihim wa laa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon )
62. Indeed, those who believe, the Yahud, the Nasara, and the Sabians—whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous deeds—shall have their reward [115] with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Transliteration:( Wa iz akhaznaa meesaaqakum wa rafa'naa fawqakumut Toora khuzoo maaa aatainaakum biquwwatinw wazkuroo maa feehi la'allakum tattaqoon )
63. And (recall) when We took a covenant [116] from you, and We caused [117] the Mount Tur to tower above you, (saying): "Hold firmly to whatever We have bestowed upon you and remember what is therein, that perhaps you may become righteous." [118]
Transliteration:( Summa tawallaitum mim ba'di zaalika falawlaa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo lakuntum minal khaasireen )
64. Then you turned away after that. Had it not been for the Grace of Allah upon you and His Mercy, you would have been among the losers. [119]
Transliteration:( Wa laqad 'alimtumul lazeena'-tadaw minkum fis Sabti faqulnaa lahum koonoo qiradatan khaasi'een )
65. And, indeed, you know those among you who rebelled [120] in the matter concerning the Sabbath (Saturday). So We said to them: "Be you apes, [121] despised."

67.And recall when Musa [123] said to his people: "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." [124] They said: "Do you make a laughing stock of us?" [125] He said: "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."
Transliteration:( Qaalud-'u lanaa rabbaka yubaiyil lanaa maa hee; qaala innahoo yaqoolu innahaa baqaratul laa faaridunw wa laa bikrun 'awaanum baina zaalika faf'aloo maa tu'maroon )
68. They said: "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is." He said: "He (Allah) says, it is a cow which is neither old nor a young heifer, but in between. So do what you are commanded." [126]
Transliteration:( Qaalud-'u lanaa Rabbaka yubaiyil lanaa maa lawnuhaa; qaala innahoo yaqoolu innahaa baqaratun safraaa'u faaqi'ul lawnuhaa tasurrunnaazireen )
69. They said: "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what colour it is." He said: "Allah says, it is a cow that is yellow, bright in colour, and pleasing to those who look at it."
Transliteration:( Qaalud-'u lanaa Rabbaka yubaiyil lanaa maa hiya innal baqara tashaabaha 'alainaa wa innaaa in shaaa'al laahu lamuhtadoon )
70. They said: "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is. Indeed, all cows look alike to us." [127] And, surely, if Allah wills, we will be guided. [128]
