Transliteration:( Wa minan naasi mai ya'budul laaha 'alaa harfin fa in asaabahoo khairunit maanna bihee wa in asaabat hu fitnatunin qalaba 'alaa wajhihee khasirad dunyaa wal aakhirah; zaalika huwal khusraanul mubeen )
11. And some men worship Allah on an edge [28], then if any good reaches him, he is content [29] therewith, and if trial befalls, he turns round on his face; there is loss of the world and the hereafter both. This is a manifest loss [30].

Transliteration:( Yad'oo min doonil laahi maa laa yadurruhoo wa maa laa yanfa'uh' zaalika huwad dalaalul ba'ed )
12. They worship besides Allah such that which can neither do good nor bad to them [31]. This is indeed straying afar.

Transliteration:( Yad'oo laman darruhooo aqrabu min naf'ih; labi'salmawlaa wa labi'sal 'asheer )
13. They worship such that whose harm is more[32] expected than their benefit. No doubt, what an evil patron and no doubt what as evil comrade!

Transliteration:( Innal laaha yudkhilul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaar; innal laaha yaf'alu maa yureed )
14. Indeed, Allah will cause those who believed and did good deeds to enter gardens beneath which rivers [33] flow. No doubt, Allah does what He will.

Transliteration:( Man kaana yazunnu allai yansurahul laahu fid dunyaa wal aakhirati fal yamdud bisababin ilas samaaa'i summal yaqta' falyanzur hal yuzhibanna kaiduhoo maa yagheez )
15. Whosoever imagines that Allah will not help His prophet in the world and the hereafter[34]: let him stretch a rope upward and let him see that for which his heart so buring, [35]

Transliteration:( Wa kazaalika anzalnaahu aayaatim baiyinaatinw wa annal laaha yahdee mai yureed )
16. And thus we have sent down this Quran as Manifest signs that Allah guides whom He will. [36]

Transliteration:( Innal lazeena aamanoo wallazeena haadoo was saabi'eena wan nasaaraa wal Majoosa wallazeena ashrakooo innal laaha yafsilu bainahum yawmal qiyaamah; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in shaheed )
17. Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians, Christians, Magians(37), and Polytheists(38),- Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment(39): for Allah is witness of all things.

Transliteration:( Alam tara annal laaha yasjudu lahoo man fis samaawaati wa man fil ardi wash shamsu walqamaru wan nu joomu wal jibaalu wash shajaru wad dawaaabbu wa kaseerum minan naasi wa kaseerun haqqa 'alaihil 'azaab; wa mai yuhinil laahu famaa lahoo mim mukrim; innallaaha yaf'alu maa yashaaa (make sajda) )
18. Have you not seen [40] that to Allah prostrates whosoever is in the heavens and in the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the beasts, and many [41] are those upon whom the torment is already justified [42], none [43] is there to give him honour. Indeed, Allah does what He pleases.
