بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ
Transliteration:( Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo la tuqaddimoo baina yada yil laahi wa Rasoolihee wattaqul laah; innal laaha samee'un 'Aleem )
1. O believers! Do not commit any excess[1] before Allah and His Messenger, and fear Allah. Surely, Allah Hears, Knows [2].
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَرۡفَعُوٓاْ أَصۡوَٰتَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ صَوۡتِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجۡهَرُواْ لَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ كَجَهۡرِ بَعۡضِكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ أَن تَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ
Transliteration:( Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tarfa'ooo aswaatakum fawqa sawtin Nabiyi wa laa tajharoo lahoo bilqawli kajahri ba'dikum liba 'din an tahbata a 'maalukum wa antum laa tash'uroon )
2.0 believers! Do not raise your voices above the voice[3] of the Prophet (Prophet Muhammad), and do not(4) speak aloud in his presence as you speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become in vain, while you are unaware.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصۡوَٰتَهُمۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمۡتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٌ
Transliteration:( Innal lazeena yaghud doona aswaatahum 'inda Rasoolil laahi ulaaa'ikal lazeenam tah anal laahu quloobahum littaqwaa; lahum maghfiratunw wa'ajrun 'azeem )
3. Indeed, those who lower [5] their voices in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a great reward.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلۡحُجُرَٰتِ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ
Transliteration:( Innal lazeena yunaadoo naka minw waraaa'il hujuraati aksaruhum laa ya'qiloon )
4.Certainly, many of those who call from behind your private apartment, have no understanding".[8]
وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ صَبَرُواْ حَتَّىٰ تَخۡرُجَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
Transliteration:( Wa law annahum sabaroo hatta takhruja ilaihim lakaana khairal lahum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem )
5 And if they had patience, until you (O Muhammad) yourself had come (9) out to them that would have been better for them. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (10),
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن جَآءَكُمۡ فَاسِقُۢ بِنَبَإٖ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٖ فَتُصۡبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَٰدِمِينَ
Transliteration:( Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo in jaaa'akum faasiqum binaba in fatabaiyanooo an tuseeboo qawmam bijahalatin fatusbihoo 'alaa maa fa'altum naadimeen )
6. O believers [11]! If anyone disobedient [12] comes to you with any news, make a strict enquiry (13), lest you may punish any people in ignorance. And then later on remain regretful on what you may have (14) done.
وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِۚ لَوۡ يُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي كَثِيرٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ لَعَنِتُّمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ وَٱلۡفُسُوقَ وَٱلۡعِصۡيَانَۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّـٰشِدُونَ
Transliteration:( Wa'lamooo anna feekum Rasoolal laah; law yutee'ukum fee kaseerim minal amrila'anittum wa laakinnal laaha habbaba ilaikumul eemaana wa zaiyanahoo fee quloobikum wa karraha ilaikumul kufra walfusooqa wal'isyaan; ulaaaika humur raashidoon )
7.And know that the Messenger of Allah is among[15]you.If he were to do according to your liking [16] in much of the affairs, you would surely have been in trouble. But Allah has made the faith dear to you, and has made it look beautiful to your hearts (17). And He has made infidelity and wickedness and disobedience hateful (18) to you. Such are the right minded people. (19)
فَضۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَنِعۡمَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ
Transliteration:( Fadlam minal laahi wa ni'mah; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem )
8.By such grace and favour of Allah. Allah is Knowing. Wise.
وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّتِي تَبۡغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَآءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوٓاْۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa in taaa'ifataani minal mu'mineena naqtataloo fa aslihoo bainahumaa; fa-im baghat ihdaahumaa 'alal ukhraa faqaatilul latee tabghee hattaa tafeee'a ilaaa amril laah; fa-in faaa'at fa aslihoo bainahumaa bil'adli wa aqsitoo, innal laaha yuhibbul muqsiteen )
9. And if two groups of the believers fight [20] each other, then make peace [21] between them. But if one of them commits excessiveness against the other, then fight the one who has committed excessiveness (22), till they revert to the Command of Allah. Then if they revert, decide between them in equity and do justice (23) impartially. Surely, Allah loves the just ones (24),
إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةٞ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَ أَخَوَيۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
Transliteration:( Innamal mu'minoona ikhwatun fa aslihoo baina akhawaykum wattaqul laaha la'allakum turhamoon (section 1) )
10. Certainly, all the believers are brothers to each other (Therefore, make peace with one another). (25) Between your two brothers and fear Allah, that mercy may be bestowed upon you.
