Transliteration:( Sanulqee fee quloobil lazeena kafarur ru'ba bimaaa ashrakoo billaahi maa lam yunazzil bihee sultaana wa ma'wahumun Naar; wa bi'sa maswaz zaalimeen )
151. We shall soon cast terror into the hearts of the disbelievers [324] because of their associating partners with Allah, for which He has not sent down any sanction; and their destination is the fire; and what an evil place for the unjust to stay!

Transliteration:( Wa laqad sadaqakumul laahu wa'dahooo iz tahussoo nahum bi iznihee hattaaa izaa fashiltum wa tanaaza'tum fil amri wa 'asaitum mim ba'di maaa araakum maa tuhibboon; minkum mai yureedud dunyaa wa minkum mai yureedul Aakhirah; summa sarafakum 'anhum liyabtaliyakum wa laqad 'afaa 'ankum; wallaahu zoo fadlin 'alal mu'mineen )
152. And indeed, Allah fulfilled His promise to you [325] when you were slaying them by His command, until when you lost courage and disputed over the command [326] and disobeyed after He showed you that which you loved [327]. Among you are those who desire the world [328], and among you are those who desire the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them to test you, and indeed He forgave you [329], and Allah is the possessor of bounty over the believers.

Transliteration:( Iz tus'idoona wa laa talwoona 'alaaa ahadinw war Rasoolu yad'ookum feee ukhraakum fa asaabakum ghammam bighammil likailaa tahzanoo 'alaa maa faatakum wa laa maaa asaabakum; wallaahu khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon )
153. (Remember) when you were going away (fleeing) and did not look back towards anyone [330], while the Messenger [331] was calling you from behind (at Uhud), so Allah rewarded you with sorrow upon sorrow [332], so that you do not grieve [333] over what escaped you (of victory and spoils of war) or over what befell you (of injury and death). And Allah is fully aware of what you do [334].

Transliteration:( Summa anzala 'alaikum mim ba'dil ghammi amanatan nu'aasai yaghshaa taaa' ifatam minkum wa taaa'ifatun qad ahammat-hum anfusuhum yazunnoona billaahi ghairal haqqi zannal jaahiliyyati yaqooloona hal lanaa minal amri min shai'; qul innal amra kullahoo lillaah; yukhfoona fee anfusihim maa laa yubdoona laka yaqooloona law kaana lanaa minal amri shai'ummaa qutilnaa haahunaa; qul law kuntum fee buyootikum labarazal lazeena kutiba 'alaihimul qatlu ilaa madaaji'ihim wa liyabtaliyal laahu maa fee sudoorikum wa liyumah hisa maa fee quloobikum; wallaahu 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor )
154. Then after the distress, He sent down to you [335] security (in the form of) slumber that had surrounded a faction of you [336], while other factions were anxious about themselves, thinking of Allah unjustly [337]. The suspicion due to ignorance, saying: "And have we any power [338] in this affair?" Please declare: "The governance of their affairs is entirely in the hands of Allah." They conceal in their hearts what they dare not reveal [339] to you. They say: "If we had any power, then we would not have been killed here [340]." Please declare: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death had been decreed would have gone to the place of slaughter [341]." (It was) so that Allah might test what is in your breasts [342], and whatever is in your hearts might purge it. Allah knows well the secrets of your hearts [343].

Transliteration:( Innal lazeena tawallaw minkum yawmal taqal jam'aani innamas tazallahumush Shaitaanu biba'di maa kasaboo wa laqad 'afal laahu 'anhum; innnal laaha Ghafoorun Haleem )
155. No doubt those of you who turned back [344] on the day when the two armies met [345]. It was Shaitan who caused them to slip [346] because of some of their actions [347], and surely Allah forgave them [348]. Verily, Allah is Most Forgiving, Gentle [349].

Transliteration:( Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takoonoo kallazeena kafaroo wa qaaloo li ikhwaanihim izaa daraboo fil ardi aw kaanoo ghuzzal law kaanoo 'indanaa maa maatoo wa maa qutiloo liyaj'alal laahu zaalika hasratan fee quloobihim; wallaahu yuhyee wa yumeet; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer )
156. O you who believe! Do not be like the infidels who said about their brothers [350] when they traveled through the land or went out for holy war that had they been with us, they would not have died [351] and not have been slain, in order that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts [352]. And Allah gives life and causes death [353]. And Allah sees what you do.

Transliteration:( Wa la'in qutiltum fee sabeelil laahi aw muttum lamaghfiratum minal laahi wa rahmatun khairum mimmaa yajma'oon )
157. And what if you are slain in the Cause of Allah or die [354]? Then the forgiveness from Allah and His mercy is better than all that they amass [355].

158. And if you die or are slain, certainly you are to gather before Allah[356].

Transliteration:( Fabimaa rahmatim minal laahi linta lahum wa law kunta fazzan ghaleezal qalbi lanfaddoo min hawlika fa'afu 'anhum wastaghfir lahum wa shaawirhum fil amri fa izaa 'azamta fatawakkal 'alal laah; innallaaha yuhibbul mutawak kileen )
159. (O Beloved) It is by the Mercy of Allah that you (Beloved Prophet) are so gentle to them. Had you been severe and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from your circle. So pardon [357] them and intercede for them and consult them in the affairs [358]. And when you have decided, then put your trust in Allah. Surely, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him [359].

Transliteration:( Iny-yansurkumul laahu falaa ghaaliba lakum wa iny-yakhzulkum faman zal lazee yansurukum min ba'dih; wa 'alal laahi falyatawakkalil mu'minoon )
160. If Allah helps you, then no one can overpower you [360]. But if He should forsake you, then who is there to help you after that [361]? And the believers should put their trust in Allah [362].
