بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَكِبَا فِي ٱلسَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَاۖ قَالَ أَخَرَقۡتَهَا لِتُغۡرِقَ أَهۡلَهَا لَقَدۡ جِئۡتَ شَيۡـًٔا إِمۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Fantalaqaa hattaaa izaa rakibaa fis safeenati kharaqahaa qaala akharaqtahaa litughriqa ahlahaa laqad ji'ta shai'an imraa )
71. Now both of them set out, until when they embarked in a boat [160], he cleaved it. Musa said, "Have you cleaved it in order to drown [161] its passengers? Indeed, you have done a wrong thing [162]."
قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُلۡ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسۡتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Qaala alam aqul innaka lan tastatee'a ma'iya sabraa )
72. He said, "Did I not tell you that you would not be able to stay with me?"
قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنِي بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرۡهِقۡنِي مِنۡ أَمۡرِي عُسۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Qaala laa tu'aakhiznee bimaa naseetu wa laa turhiqnee min amree 'usraa )
73. Musa said, "Do not blame me for what I forgot [163], and do not make my affair difficult for me."
فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا لَقِيَا غُلَٰمٗا فَقَتَلَهُۥ قَالَ أَقَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسٗا زَكِيَّةَۢ بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٖ لَّقَدۡ جِئۡتَ شَيۡـٔٗا نُّكۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Fantalaqaa hattaa izaa laqiyaa ghulaaman faqatalahoo qaala aqatalta nafsan zakiy yatam bighairi nafs; laqad ji'ta shai'an nukraa (End Juz 15) )
74. Again both of them set out until they met a boy [164], whom he killed. Musa said, "Have you killed an innocent person [165] who hasn’t killed anyone else? Indeed, you have committed a grave wrong [166]."
۞قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكَ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسۡتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Qaala alam aqul laka innaka lan tastatee'a ma'iya sabraa )
75. He said, "Did I not tell you [167] that you would not be able to stay with me?" [168]
قَالَ إِن سَأَلۡتُكَ عَن شَيۡءِۭ بَعۡدَهَا فَلَا تُصَٰحِبۡنِيۖ قَدۡ بَلَغۡتَ مِن لَّدُنِّي عُذۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Qaala in sa altuka 'an shai'im ba'dahaa falaa tusaahibnee qad balaghta mil ladunnee 'uzraa )
76. Musa said, "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep my company [169]; indeed, you have already fulfilled your excuse from my side [170]."
فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَيَآ أَهۡلَ قَرۡيَةٍ ٱسۡتَطۡعَمَآ أَهۡلَهَا فَأَبَوۡاْ أَن يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارٗا يُرِيدُ أَن يَنقَضَّ فَأَقَامَهُۥۖ قَالَ لَوۡ شِئۡتَ لَتَّخَذۡتَ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Fantalaqaa hattaaa izaaa atayaaa ahla qaryatinis tat'amaaa ahlahaa fa abaw any yudaiyifoohumaa fawajadaa feehaa jidaarany yureedu any yanqadda fa aqaamah; qaala law shi'ta lattakhazta 'alaihi ajraa )
77. Again both went on until they came to the people of a village [171]. They asked the villagers for food [172], but they refused [173] to entertain them. Then they found a wall about to collapse [174], and he set it right. Musa said, "If you had wished, you could have taken a wage for it [175]."
قَالَ هَٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنِكَۚ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأۡوِيلِ مَا لَمۡ تَسۡتَطِع عَّلَيۡهِ صَبۡرًا
Transliteration:( Qaala haazaa firaaqu bainee wa bainik; sa unabbi'uka bi ta'weeli maa lam tastati' 'alaihi sabraa )
78. He said, "This is the separation [176] between me and you. Now I shall tell you the explanation [177] of those things over which you could not have patience [178]."
أَمَّا ٱلسَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتۡ لِمَسَٰكِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنۡ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَآءَهُم مَّلِكٞ يَأۡخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصۡبٗا
Transliteration:( Ammas safeenatu fakaanat limasaakeena ya'maloona fil bahri fa arattu an a'eebahaa wa kaana waraaa' ahum malikuny yaakhuzu kulla safeenatin ghasbaa )
79. As for the boat, it belonged to poor people [179] who worked at sea. I intended to make it faulty [180] because there was a king behind them who seized every intact boat by force [181].
وَأَمَّا ٱلۡغُلَٰمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤۡمِنَيۡنِ فَخَشِينَآ أَن يُرۡهِقَهُمَا طُغۡيَٰنٗا وَكُفۡرٗا
Transliteration:( Wa aammal ghulaamu fakaana abawaahu mu'minaini fakhasheenaaa any yurhiqa humaa tughyaananw wa kufraa )
80. And as for the boy, his parents were believers, so we feared that he might overwhelm them with tyranny and disbelief [182].
