  11. Fulfill Your Oaths: Keeping oaths is an important aspect of faith.
  12. Unity Among Muslims: Shayṭān (Satan) seeks to create discord among Muslims, particularly through sins like intoxicants and gambling, leading to neglect of Allah’s remembrance.

Transliteration:( Innamaa yureedush Shaitaanu ai yooqi'a bainakumul 'adaawata wal baghdaaa'a fil khamri wal maisiri wa yasuddakum 'an zikril laahi wa 'anis Salaati fahal antum muntahoon )
91. The devil (Shaitaan) desires only to infuse hatred and enmity among you through wine and gambling [252], and to bar you from the remembrance of Allah [253], and from Prayer. Will you then desist?

92.And obey Allah and obey the Messenger [254], and be careful. Then, if you turn back, know that the duty of Our Messenger is only to deliver the Message clearly [255].

Transliteration:( Laisa 'alal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati junaahun feemaa ta'imooo izaa mat taqaw wa aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati summat taqaw wa aamanoo summat taqaw wa ahsanoo; wallaahu yuhibbul muhsineen )
93. There is no blame on those who believe and do good deeds for what they eat when they fear [256] and believe [257] and do good deeds. And again fear and keep faith, then again fear and do good. And Allah loves the good-doers.

94. O believers! Allah will surely test you with such hunting game which your hands and spears may undertake in order that [258] Allah may make known those who fear Him without seeing. Then, after this, whoso crosses the limit, for him is a painful punishment [259].

Transliteration:( Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa taqtulus saida wa antum hurum; wa man qatalahoo minkum mut'am midan fajazaaa'um mislu maa qatala minanna'ami yahkumu bihee zawaa 'adlim minkum hadyam baalighal Ka'bati aw kaffaaratun ta'aamu masaakeena aw 'adlu zaalika Siyaamal liyazooqa wabaala amrih; 'afal laahu 'ammaa salaf; wa man 'aada fayanta qimul laahu minh; wallaahu 'azeezun zuntiqaam )
95. O believers! Kill not game while you are in a pilgrim's garb [260]. And whoso among you kills intentionally [261], his compensation is that he should give a like animal from amongst the cattle as judged by two just persons among you. This offering should reach the Ka'bah. Or, as an alternate compensation, he should give food to some needy persons or should fast [262], to its equivalent [263], so that he may taste the enormity of his deed. Allah has pardoned what happened in the past. But, if anyone repeats it, Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Mighty in exacting retribution [264].

Transliteration:( Uhilla lakum saidul bahri wa ta'aamuhoo mataa'al lakum wa lissaiyaarati wa hurrima 'alaikum saidul barri maa dumtum hurumaa; wattaqul laahal lazeee ilaihi tuhsharoon )
96. Lawful to you is the game of the sea (fishing) [265], and its eating for you and the travellers. And forbidden to you is the game of the land, as long as you are in all Ihraam [266]. And fear Allah towards Whom you are going to rise.

Transliteration:( Ja'alal laahul Ka'batal Baital Haraama qiyaamal linnaasi wash Shahral Haraama walhadya walqalaaa'id; zaalika lita'lamooo annal laaha ya'lamu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi wa annal laaha bikulli shai'in 'Aleem )
97. Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, an establishment for the people [267], as well as the sacred month, the sacrificial animals, and the animals with the hanging marks [268]. This is so that you may know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and that Allah has knowledge of all things.
