بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِي كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَنقَلِبُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ

Transliteration:( Yaa qawmid khulul Ardal Muqaddasatal latee katabal laahu lakum wa laa tartaddoo 'alaaa adbaarikum fatanqaliboo khaasireenn )
21. O my people! Enter the sacred land that Allah has destined for you, and do not turn back, or else you will return as losers.

قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوۡمٗا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِن يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّا دَٰخِلُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa innaa feehaa qawman jabbaareena wa innaa lan nadkhulahaa hattaa yakhrujoo minhaa fa-iny yakhrujoo minhaa fa innaa daakhiloon )
22.They said: O Musa! In it are powerful people [84], and indeed we will never enter it until they go forth from it [85]. So if they leave, then we will enter.

قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمَا ٱدۡخُلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلۡتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمۡ غَٰلِبُونَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوٓاْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaala rajulaani minal lazeena yakhaafoona an'amal laahu 'alaihimad khuloo 'alaihimul baab, fa izaa dakhaltumoohu fa innakum ghaaliboon; wa 'alal laahi fatawakkalooo in kuntum mu'mineen )
23. Two men from among those who feared Allah, whom Allah had favoured [86], said: Enter upon them through the gate, for if you enter it, you will surely be victorious [87]. And put your trust in Allah, if you are believers [88].

قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَآ أَبَدٗا مَّا دَامُواْ فِيهَا فَٱذۡهَبۡ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَٰهُنَا قَٰعِدُونَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo yaa Moosaaa innaa lan nadkhulahaa abadam maa daamoo feehaa fazhab anta wa Rabbuka faqaatilaaa innaa haahunaa qaa'idoon )
24.They said: "O Musa! Indeed we will never enter it as long they dwell therein. Therefore you and your Lord go there and both [89], of you fight with them, while will we remain sitting [90]".

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لَآ أَمۡلِكُ إِلَّا نَفۡسِي وَأَخِيۖ فَٱفۡرُقۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaala Rabbi innee laaa amliku illaa nafsee wa akhee fafruq bainanaa wa bainal qawmil faasiqeen )
25. He (Musa) submitted: "O my Lord! I have no control over anyone except myself and my brother [91]. So separate us from the disobedient people [92]."

قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡۛ أَرۡبَعِينَ سَنَةٗۛ يَتِيهُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ فَلَا تَأۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaala fa innahaa muhar ramatun 'alaihim arba'eena sanah; yateehoona fil ard; falaa taasa 'alal qawmil faasiqeen )
26. Allah said: "Then indeed, it (that land) is forbidden to them for forty years. They will wander in the land [93]. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people [94]."

۞وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ ٱبۡنَيۡ ءَادَمَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ إِذۡ قَرَّبَا قُرۡبَانٗا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنۡ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمۡ يُتَقَبَّلۡ مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقۡتُلَنَّكَۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

Transliteration:( Watlu 'alaihim naba abnai Aadama bilhaqq; iz qarrabaa qurbaanan fatuqubbila min ahadihimaa wa lam yutaqabbal minal aakhari qaala la aqtulannnaka qaala innamaa yataqabbalul laahu minal muttaqeen )
27. And narrate to them the true [95] story about the two sons of Adam, when each of them offered a sacrifice to Allah. It was accepted [96] from one, but was rejected from the other. He (Qabeel) said: "I swear that I shall kill you" [97]. The other (Habeel) said: "Allah accepts the offering only from the God-fearing" [98].

لَئِنۢ بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِي مَآ أَنَا۠ بِبَاسِطٖ يَدِيَ إِلَيۡكَ لِأَقۡتُلَكَۖ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Transliteration:( La'im basatta ilaiya yadaka litaqtulanee maaa ana bibaasitiny yadiya ilaika li aqtulaka inneee akhaaful laaha Rabbal 'aalameen )
28. Surely, if you raise your hand against me to kill me [99], I shall not raise my hand against you to kill you. I fear Allah, Lord of all the worlds [100].

إِنِّيٓ أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوٓأَ بِإِثۡمِي وَإِثۡمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Transliteration:( Inee ureedu an tabooo'a bi ismee wa ismika fatakoona min As-haabin Naar; wa zaalika jazaaa'uz zaalimeen )
29. Indeed, I want you to bear my sin [101] and your sin [102], so that you may be among the companions of the Fire [103]. And that is the punishment of the unjust.

فَطَوَّعَتۡ لَهُۥ نَفۡسُهُۥ قَتۡلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصۡبَحَ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

Transliteration:( Fatawwa'at lahoo nafsu hoo qatla akheehi faqatalahoo fa asbaha minal khaasireen )
30. And his soul induced him to kill his brother. So he killed him [104] and became among the losers [105].
