بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Transliteration:( Taa-Seeen-Meeem )
1.TA -Sin-Mim
تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
Transliteration:( Tilka Aayaatul Kitaabil mubeen )
2. These are the verses of the clear Book [2]
نَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Transliteration:( Natloo 'alaika min naba-i Moosaa wa Fir'awna bilhaqqi liqawminy yu'miinoon )
3. We recite to you the true news of Musa and Firawn [3] (pharaoh) for those who believe [4].
إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعٗا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآئِفَةٗ مِّنۡهُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
Transliteration:( Inna Fir'awna 'alaa fil ardi wa ja'ala ahlahaa shiya'ai yastad'ifu taaa'ifatam minhum yuzabbihu abnaaa'ahum wa yastahyee nisaaa'ahum; innahoo kaana minal mufsideen )
4. Indeed, Firawn had got control of the earth [5] and made its people his subordinates, he sought to weaken a group [6] of them, slay their sons [7], and let their women live [8]. Indeed, he was a mischief-maker.
وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمۡ أَئِمَّةٗ وَنَجۡعَلَهُمُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa nureedu an namunna 'alal lazeenas tud'ifoo fil ardi wa naj'alahum a'immatanw wa naj'alahumul waariseen )
5. And We desired that We should be gracious [9] to those weakened and make them leaders [10] and should make them the inheritors of their country and wealth [11].
وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَنُرِيَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَحۡذَرُونَ
Transliteration:( Wa numakkina lahum fil ardi wa nuriya Fir'awna wa Haamaana wa junoodahumaa minhum maa kaanoo yahzaroon )
6. And We should establish them in the earth [12] and show to Firawn and Haman and their armies the same, which they fear, from them [13].
وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَرۡضِعِيهِۖ فَإِذَا خِفۡتِ عَلَيۡهِ فَأَلۡقِيهِ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحۡزَنِيٓۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيۡكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa awhainaaa ilaaa ummi Moosaaa an ardi'eehi faizaa khifti 'alaihi fa alqeehi filyammi wa laa takhaafee wa laa tahzaneee innaa raaaddoohu ilaiki wa jaa'iloohu minal mursaleen )
7. And We inspired [14] the mother of Musa, "Suckle him [15], and when you fear for him [16], cast him into the river and do not fear [17] nor grieve; indeed, We shall return him to you and make him one of the Messengers [18]."
فَٱلۡتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمۡ عَدُوّٗا وَحَزَنًاۗ إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُواْ خَٰطِـِٔينَ
Transliteration:( Faltaqatahooo Aalu Fir'awna li yakoona lahum 'aduwwanw wa hazanaa; inna Fir'awna wa Haamaana wa junooda humaa kaanoo khaati'een )
8. Then the family [18] of Firawn picked him up so that he may become their enemy and a source of grief [19]. Indeed, Firawn and Haman and their armies were wrongdoers [20].
وَقَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ قُرَّتُ عَيۡنٖ لِّي وَلَكَۖ لَا تَقۡتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Transliteration:( Wa qaalatim ra atu Fir'awna qurratu 'aynil lee wa lak; laa taqtuloohu 'asaaa aiyanfa'anaa aw nattakhizahoo waladanw wa hum laa yash'uroon )
9. And the wife of Firawn [20] said, "This child is a comfort to me and to you [21]. Do not slay him; perhaps he may benefit us [22] or we may adopt him as a son [23]." And they were unaware.
وَأَصۡبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًاۖ إِن كَادَتۡ لَتُبۡدِي بِهِۦ لَوۡلَآ أَن رَّبَطۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa asbaha fu'aadu ummi Moosaa faarighan in kaadat latubdee bihee law laaa arrabatnaa 'alaa qalbihaa litakoona minal mu'mineen )
10. And the heart of the mother of Musa became impatient [24] the next morning. Surely, she was near to disclosing [25] his condition, if We had not strengthened her heart [26] so that she might remain believing in Our promise.
