    The theme / Summary of the surah as-saff

    Muslims of weak faith and those who entered Islam as a cover-up are exhorted in this Surah to demonstrate sincerity in their faith, and to give their lives in the cause of Allah.

    Lesson learned from surah as-saff

    1. Don’t tell others to do things you wouldn’t do yourself.  
    2. Allah's loves organisation.  
    3. The disbelievers will try and extinguish the Light of Allah's, but Allah's will ensure His Light remains in spite of their dislike.  
    4. The Da«n was sent to be dominant over others.  
    5. We need to support the cause of Allah's’s Messenger ï·º by trying our utmost in propagating his message and teachings.

    بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

     

    تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    Transliteration:( Tu'minoona billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa tujaahidoona fee sabeelil laahi bi amwaalikum wa anfusikum; zaalikum khairul lakum in kuntum ta'lamoon )
    11. That is, you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive hard for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your person [22]. That is the best for you, if you know [23].

    يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡ وَيُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةٗ فِي جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

    Transliteration:( Yaghfir lakum zunoobakum wa yudkhilkum Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru wa masaakina taiyibatan fee Jannaati 'Adn; zaalikal fawzul 'Azeem )
    12. He will forgive you your sins [24] and cause you to enter into Paradise, beneath which streams flow, and they are pure and best dwellings in the Paradise of eternity. That is the greatest triumph [25].

    وَأُخۡرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَاۖ نَصۡرٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتۡحٞ قَرِيبٞۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    Transliteration:( Wa ukhraa tuhibboonahaa nasrum minal laahi wa fat hun qareeb; wa bashshiril mu 'mineen )
    13.And yet another blessing [26] that you love is the help from Allah and a victory [27] near at hand. So give good news to the believers.

    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُوٓاْ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ لِلۡحَوَارِيِّـۧنَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِۖ فَـَٔامَنَت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۢ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّآئِفَةٞۖ فَأَيَّدۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ ظَٰهِرِينَ

    Transliteration:( Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo koonooo ansaaral laahi kamaa qaala 'Eesab-nu-Maryama lil Hawaariyyeena man ansaareee ilal laah; qaalal Hawaariyyoona nahnu ansaa rul laahi fa aamanat taaa'ifatum mim Banee Israaa'eela wa kafarat taaa'ifatun fa ayyadnal lazeena aamanoo 'alaa 'aduwwihim fa asbahoo zaahireen )
    14.O believers! Be helpers [28] (in the cause) of Allah as Isa bin Mariam said to his disciples: "Who will help me [29] in the Way of Allah?" The disciples said [30]: "We are helpers [31] in the Way of Allah." So a party of the Children of Israeel believed and another party disbelieved. Then We gave power to those who believed, and they became victorious [32].
