Transliteration:( Laisa 'alad du'aafaaa'i wa laa 'alal mardaa wa laa 'alal lazeena laa yajidoona maa yunfiqoona harajun izaa nasahoo lillaahi wa Rasoolih; maa 'alal muhsineena min sabeel; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem )
91. There is no fault [246] on the weak, on the sick, nor on those who are not capable [247] to spend, when they are sincere [248] to Allah and His Messenger. There is no accountability on the doers of good. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Transliteration:( Wa laa 'alal lazeena izaa maaa atawka litahmilahum qulta laaa ajidu maaa ahmilukum 'alaihi tawallaw wa a'yunuhum tafeedu minaddam'i hazanan allaa yajidoo maa yunfiqoon (End Juz 10) )
92. Nor is there any blame on those who came to you so that you might provide [249] conveyance for them. You said to them: "I do not find any means to carry [250] you." So they turned back with their eyes overflowing with tears out of sorrow because they could not find anything to spend [251].

Transliteration:( Innamas sabeelu 'alal lazeena yasta'zinoonaka wa hum aghniyaaa'; radoo biany-yakoonoo ma'al khawaalifi wa taba'al laahu 'alaa quloobihim fahum laa ya'lamoon )
93. The accountability is only upon those who seek permission from you while they are rich [252]. They preferred to remain behind with the women [253], and Allah has sealed their hearts, so they do not know.

Transliteration:( Ya'taziroona ilaikum izaa raja'tum ilaihim; qul laa ta'taziroo lan nu'mina lakum qad nabba annal laahu min akhbaarikum; wa sa yaral laahu 'amalakum wa Rasooluhoo thumma turaddoona ilaa 'Aalimil Ghaibi washshahaadati fa yunabbi'ukum bimaa kuntum ta'maloon )
94. They will make excuses [254] to you when you return to them [255]. Say: "Do not make excuses; we will never believe [256] you. Allah has already informed us of your state [257]." And Allah and His Messenger will observe your actions, then you will be returned [258] to the Knower of the unseen and seen, and He will inform you of what you used to do [259].

Transliteration:( Sa yahlifoona billaahi lakum izanqalabtum ilaihim litu'ridoo 'anhum fa a'ridoo 'anhum innahum rijsunw wa ma'waahum jahannamu jazaaa'an bi maakaanoo yaksiboon )
95. They will swear by Allah to you when you return [260] to them, so that you may turn away [261] from them. So turn away from them [262]; indeed, they are impure [263], and their abode is Hell as a recompense for what they used to earn [264].

Transliteration:( Yahlifoona lakum litardaw 'anhum fa in tardaw 'anhum fa innal laaha laa yardaa 'anil qawmil faasiqeen )
96. They swear before you so that you may be pleased [265] with them. But if you are pleased with them, then undoubtedly, Allah is not pleased with the disobedient people [266].

Transliteration:( Al A'raabu ashaddu kufranw wa nifaaqanw wa ajdaru allaa ya'lamoo hudooda maaa anzalal laahu 'alaa Rasoolih; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem )
97. The desert-dwelling Arabs are more intense [267] in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more deserving to remain ignorant [268] of the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.

Transliteration:( Wa minal A'raabi mai yattakhizu maa yunfiqu maghramanw wa yatarabbasu bikumud dawaaa'ir; alaihim daaa'iratus saw'; wallaahu Samee'un 'Aleem )
98. And among the desert Arabs [269] are those who regard what they spend in Allah’s way as a fine [270] and wait for misfortunes [271] to befall you. Upon them shall be the evil turn. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Transliteration:( Wa minal A'raabi mai yu'minu billaahi wal yawmil aakhiri wa yattakhizu maa yunfiqu qurubaatin 'indal laahi wa salawaatir Rasool; 'alaaa innahaa qurbatul lahum; sayudkhilu humul laahu fee rahmatih; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem (section 12) )
99. And among the desert Arabs [272] are those who believe in Allah and the Last Day [273], and regard what they spend as a means of nearness [274] to Allah and the blessings of His Messenger. Indeed, it is a means of nearness [275] for them. Allah will admit them into His Mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Transliteration:( Was saabiqoonal awwaloona minal Muhaajireena wal Ansaari wallazeenat taba'oo hum bi ihsaanir radiyal laahu 'anhum wa radoo 'anhu wa a'adda lahum jannaatin tajree tahtahal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa; zaalikal fawzul 'azeem )
100. And the first and foremost [276] among the emigrants and the helpers [277], and those who followed them with excellence, Allah is pleased with them [278], and they are pleased with Him. And He has prepared for them gardens under which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. This is the greatest success [279].

Known as "The Immunity," Surah At-Tawbah is the 9th chapter of the Glorious Quran. It contains 129 ayat (verses) and was revealed in Medina after the Prophet (ﷺ) migrated there. This surah consists of two juz (parts). Verses 1 through 92 are in the 10th juz, and verses 93 to 129 are in the 11th juz.

This surah continues from the previous one, as it begins by calling an end to the numerous peace treaties broken by the pagans. The believers are encouraged to join the Prophet (ﷺ) in marching to Tabuk for battle during the summer of 9 A.H. / 631 C.E., and hypocrites—who make spurious excuses—are uncovered and refuted. Muslims are reminded of Allah's protection at the Battle of Uhud, when their defeat turned into a successful victory, as well as how He shielded His Messenger (ﷺ) during his journey to Medina. Throughout this surah, Allah's tolerance for repentance is continually emphasized, hence its title.
