The summary/theme of the Surah Ibrahim:

This surah is an admonition to the disbelievers who were dismissing the message of Muhammad and devising cunning plans to crush his mission. Be that as it may, notice that impugning, scolding, and rebuking overwhelm admonitions.

Lesson learned from Surah Ibrahim:

  1. If you are grateful and thank Allah's, He will increase you in favours; but if you are ungrateful, His punishment is severe.
  2. Shayá¹'n will dramatically turn his back on those who followed him on the Day of Judgement.
  3. Nothing can be hidden from the Knowledge of Allah's
  4. Never think of Allah's to be neglectful of the actions of the oppressors.
  5. Allah's never goes against His promise.
  6. Make it a point to say this du‘': O my Rabb! Make me one who establishes Salaah and from my progeny too [create those who establish Salaah], and accept this prayer of mine. O our Rabb! Forgive me, my parents and the Believers on the day the accounting is established.’[1] 14:40-41  If you try to count the blessings of Allah's, you will be unable to do so.

31. Say to My servants who have believed, "Establish prayer [67] and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before the arrival of a Day in which there will be neither commerce nor friendship [68]."

32. Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth and sent down from the sky water [69], then brought forth with it fruits as sustenance for you [70]. He has made the ships subservient to you to sail through the sea by His command [71], and He has made the rivers subservient to you.

Transliteration:( Wa sakhkhara lakumush shamsa walqamara daaa'ibaini wa sakhkhara lakumul laila wannahaar )

34. And He gave you many things you asked for [74]. And if you count the favors of Allah, you cannot enumerate them [75]. Indeed, man is very unjust and ungrateful [76].

Transliteration:( Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu Rabbij 'al haazal balada aaminanw wajnubnee wa baniyya an na'budal asnaam )
35. And recall when Ibrahim said, 'O my Lord, make this city secure [77] and save me and my sons from worshipping idols [78].'

Transliteration:( Rabbanaaa inneee askantu min zurriyyatee biwaadin ghairi zee zar'in 'inda Baitikal Muharrami Rabbanaa liyuqeemus Salaata faj'al af'idatam minan naasi tahweee ilaihim warzuqhum minas samaraati la'allahum yashkuroon )
