وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

48. And fear the day when no soul will avail another in the least, nor will intercession [91] be accepted from it, nor will any ransom be received from it, nor will they (non-believers) be helped.

يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُۥ قَوۡلٗا

109. On that day the intercession [152] of any one will not avail but of him whom the Most Affectionate has permitted [153] and whose word He liked.

وَلَا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِمَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُۥۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَن قُلُوبِهِمۡ قَالُواْ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡۖ قَالُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

23. And no intercession awaits with Him except for him whom He permits, until after giving permission[77] the bewilderment of their hearts is removed, they will ask [78]: "What is it that your Lord has said?" They will say: "Only the truth (79)". And He is the Exalted, the Great.

يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا

38. On that day when the Spirit (Jibraeel) and all angels will stand in rows [22], who will not be able to speak, except one whom the Most Affectionate permits, and who will speak only what is right [23].

وَلَا يَمۡلِكُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ

86. And those, whom they call besides Him, have no power of intercession [149] But those who testify [150] to the truth, only they know it (power of intercession).
