Quran Quote  : 

    • Quran Ayat (Verses) regarding Allah Destroyed People of Lut With His wife

    قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطٗاۚ قَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن فِيهَاۖ لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُۥ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    32. He said, “Indeed, there is Lut in it [75].” They said, “We know well [76] who is in it. We shall surely deliver him [77] and his family, except his wife, she is among those who remain behind [78].”

    Surah Name : Al-Ankabut   Surah Number : 29   Ayat Number: 32

    فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ كَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    83.Then We delivered him and his family [199], except his wife; she was of those who remained behind [200].

    Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 83

    وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

    84. And We showered upon them a rain [201]. Then behold! What was the end of the sinners [202]?

    Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 84

    فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَٰهَا مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    57. Then We saved him and his family, except for his wife; We destined her to be among those who stayed behind [110].

    وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

    58. And We rained upon them a rain, and what an evil rain it was for those who had been warned.

    Surah Name : An-Naml   Surah Number : 27   Ayat Number: 58

    إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    171. Except for an old woman who stayed behind. [171]

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 171

    ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

    172. Then We destroyed the others. [172]

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 172

    إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    135.Except an old woman [137] who was among those who remained behind.

    Surah Name : As-Saffat   Surah Number : 37   Ayat Number: 135

    ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

    136.Then We utterly destroyed [138] the others.

    Surah Name : As-Saffat   Surah Number : 37   Ayat Number: 136

    وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ

    137.And verily you pass by (their ruined habitations) in the morning.

    وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

    138. And by the night [139]. Why do then have no wisdom?

    Surah Name : As-Saffat   Surah Number : 37   Ayat Number: 138

    أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِهِمۡ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوۡمِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصۡحَٰبِ مَدۡيَنَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَٰتِۚ أَتَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ,

    70. Have they not received the news [192] of those before them—the people of Nuh, and Aad, and Thamud, and the people [193] of Ibrahim, and the people of Madyan, and the overturned [194] towns? Their Messengers had come to them with clear signs. And Allah did not wrong them [195], but they were themselves unjust to their souls [196].

    Surah Name : At-Tawbah   Surah Number : 9   Ayat Number: 70

    وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرٗا

    38. And (We destroyed) `Aad and Thamud, and the people of the well (71), and many generations between them.

    Surah Name : Al-Furqan   Surah Number : 25   Ayat Number: 38

    فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ

    65. So travel with your family in a part of the night [74] and follow their rear [75], and let not one of you look back, but go wherever you are commanded [76].
