    أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ

    6. Did you not see how your Lord dealt with the Aad [6]?

    إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ

    7. And with the people of the exclusively tall buildings of Iram [7]?

    ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ

    8.The like of whom have never been created in any cities [8].

    وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَٰكِنِهِمۡۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَصَدَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَكَانُواْ مُسۡتَبۡصِرِينَ

    38. And We destroyed 'Aad and Thamud, and you have already known their dwellings [91]. The Devil (Satan) made their deeds appear fair-seeming [92] to them and turned them away from the path, although they could see clearly [93].

    ۞وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    65. And to Aad [160] (We) sent Hud from their brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah (161). You have no god other than Him". Then do you not fear?

    كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

    123. Aad denied the Messengers [124].

    كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

    12. Before them, the people of Nuh [19], and Aad [20], and the Pharaoh (21) have already treated them (the Messengers) as liars.

    70. Have they not received the news [192], of those before them, the people of Nuh and Aad and Thamud, and the people [193], of Ebrahim, and the people of Madyan and the overturned (194), towns? Their Messengers had brought to them bright evidence. We did not wrong them (195), but they were themselves unjust to their souls (196).

    أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فِيٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كَفَرۡنَا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَنَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ

    9. Have you not received the news of those who were before you [18], the people of Nuh [Noah], 'Aad, Thamud, and those after them [19]? Only Allah knows them [20]. Their messengers came to them with clear signs [21], but they struck their hands to their mouths [22] and said, “We deny what you have been sent with, and we are in doubt concerning that to which you invite us, creating suspicion [23].”

    Surah Name : Ibrahim   Surah Number : 14   Ayat Number: 9

    وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمۡ هُودٗاۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۖ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُفۡتَرُونَ

    50. And to 'Aad [was sent] their brother Hud [107]. He said, 'O my people, worship Allah [108]. You have no deity other than Him. You are but fabricators.

    وَتِلۡكَ عَادٞۖ جَحَدُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَصَوۡاْ رُسُلَهُۥ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ

    59. And these are 'Aad. They denied the signs of their Lord and disobeyed [123] His messengers. They followed the command of every rebellious, obstinate tyrant.

    Surah Name : Hud   Surah Number : 11   Ayat Number: 59

    وَأُتۡبِعُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لَعۡنَةٗ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ عَادٗا كَفَرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّعَادٖ قَوۡمِ هُودٖ

    60. And a curse [124] was followed them in this world and on the Day of Judgment. Listen, 'Aad rejected [125] their Lord. Away with 'Aad, the people of Hud [126].

    وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَثَمُودُ

    42. And if they belie you, then no doubt, before them the people on Nuh and Aad and Thamud have already belied.

    Surah Name : Al-Hajj   Surah Number : 22   Ayat Number: 42

    وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرٗا

    38. And (We destroyed) `Aad and Thamud, and the people of the well (71), and many generations between them.

    وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ

    41.And for the Aad too, We sent to them a dry [46] windstorm.

    كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ

    4. The people of Thamud and Aad called the striking calamity [2] a lie.

    Surah Name : Al-Haqqah   Surah Number : 69   Ayat Number: 4

    كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٞ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

    18.Aad falsified [27] it, then how was My punishment for which they had My warning?

    Surah Name : Al-Qamar   Surah Number : 54   Ayat Number: 18

    فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُواْ فَقُلۡ أَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ صَٰعِقَةٗ مِّثۡلَ صَٰعِقَةِ عَادٖ وَثَمُودَ

    13. But if they turn [33] away their faces, then please declare: "I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt[34] faced by Aad and Thamud".

    Surah Name : Fussilat   Surah Number : 41   Ayat Number: 13

    فَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَقَالُواْ مَنۡ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةًۖ أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَهُمۡ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗۖ وَكَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ

    15. And as for the 'Aad [39], they became unjustly [40] boastful in the land and said: "Who is stronger in might than us?" [41] Did they not know that Allah, Who created them, is stronger [42] than them in might? But, they continued to deny Our Signs.
