    وَإِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئۡتِ ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    10. And [12] recall when your Lord called Musa, saying, "Go to the wrongdoers."

    قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ

    11. The people of Pharaoh [Firaun]—will they not fear?

    قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

    12. He (Moses) said, "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me."

    وَيَضِيقُ صَدۡرِي وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرۡسِلۡ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ

    13. "And my breast is [15] tight and my tongue does not move fluently; therefore, appoint Aaron [Haroon] as a Messenger [16]."

    وَلَهُمۡ عَلَيَّ ذَنۢبٞ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقۡتُلُونِ

    14. And they have [17] a charge against me, so I fear they may kill me [18].

    قَالَ كَلَّاۖ فَٱذۡهَبَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسۡتَمِعُونَ

    15. He [Allah] said, "Not [19] so; go both of you with Our signs. We are with you [20] listening."

    فَأۡتِيَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    16. Therefore go to Pharaoh [21] (Fir'awn) and say, "Both of us are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds [22]."

    أَنۡ أَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ

    17. That you send the children of Israel with us [23].

    قَالَ أَلَمۡ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدٗا وَلَبِثۡتَ فِينَا مِنۡ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ

    18. (Firawn) said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you spent many years of your life among us [24]?"

    وَفَعَلۡتَ فَعۡلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِي فَعَلۡتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    19. "And you did that deed [25] and you were ungrateful [26]."

    قَالَ فَعَلۡتُهَآ إِذٗا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

    20. Moses said, 'I did it then, while I was unaware [27].'

    فَفَرَرۡتُ مِنكُمۡ لَمَّا خِفۡتُكُمۡ فَوَهَبَ لِي رَبِّي حُكۡمٗا وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

    21. Therefore, I went away from you [28] when I feared you, then my Lord granted me judgment and made me one of the Messengers [29].

    وَتِلۡكَ نِعۡمَةٞ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنۡ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ

    22. And is this the favor you are reminding me of, that you have enslaved the children of Israel [30]?

    قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    23. Pharaoh said, "And what is the Lord of the worlds [31]?"

    قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ

    24. Moses said, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth [32] and all that is between them if you believe [33]."

    قَالَ لِمَنۡ حَوۡلَهُۥٓ أَلَا تَسۡتَمِعُونَ

    25. (Pharaoh) said to those around him, "Do you not listen carefully?" [34]

    قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    26. (Musa) said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers" [35].

    قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُرۡسِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمَجۡنُونٞ

    27. (Firawn) said, "This Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly mad" [36].

    قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذۡتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيۡرِي لَأَجۡعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجُونِينَ

    29.(Firawn) said, "If you take a god other than me, I will certainly imprison you" [38].
