    إِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗا

    15. Surely, they (infidels) are devising their own plan.

    وَأَكِيدُ كَيۡدٗا

    16. And We have Our own secret [13] plan.

    فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا

    قُلۡ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَدًّاۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗا وَأَضۡعَفُ جُندٗا

    75. Say, "Whoever is in error, then the Most Affectionate may extend his stay [132] until when they see what they are promised [133], whether it be the punishment or the Hour. Then they will know [134] who is in the worse position and weaker in forces."

    فَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمۡ عَدّٗا

    84. So do not be hasty against them. We [147] are only counting for them.

    وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِيَوۡمٖ تَشۡخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ

    42. And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do [93]. He only gives them respite until a Day when their eyes will stare in horror [94].

    وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَمۡلَيۡتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٞ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

    48. And how many towns that we let them loose that they were unjust [107], then I seized [108] them and to Me is the return.

    وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ

    45.And I shall give them respite;surely, My secret plan is firm.

    فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡۘ يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ نُّكُرٍ

    6.So, you turn [9] away from them till the day when the caller will call towards a painful [10] taste.

    وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٖ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرَۢا

    45.And if Allah were to punish [133] people for what they do, He would not have left any moving [134] creature on the face of the earth. But He grants them respite (135) until an appointed time. When their promise will come, then surely all devotees of Allah will know that they are in His Sight (136)
